You guys are all gonna laugh at me, but what got me even more excited about my order starting to move is that once I get my watch, I'm going to be able to FINALLY delete these three Apple Store gift cards out of my Passbook. I had them sitting in there ever since I traded in our iPhone 5's and was hoarding them until the watch released.

People who ordered within minutes of it going on sale are still waiting for theirs, so there is a significant backlog. You're probably OK, but that's just speculation.

If there's a problem with payment, there will be an exception in the order but you will have time to correct it before they cancel it, so I wouldn't worry about it until that actually happens.

Cheers for the reply,

so if it orders quicker than "June" and there is lack of funds, i will be notified and have a chance to pay money to that account and then process through that.

Im sure that will be OK if i know when, I can gather funds if need be delivery before the 12th of may.

Each morning I wake up and hop on here to see if there was a huge jump and all the orders out to xx:20 are magically being charged.

It's obviously been some disappointing mornings for me.

I hate to be the bearer of (speculative) bad news but I don't suspect we will be seeing many huge jumps in order fulfillment in the near future.

It appears any built-up stock has been sent out in the initial waves and new shipments are being sent out as new stock is built.

Some of the most popular models (like the 42mm Space Gray Sport) are still shipping to the X:05's so those of us with later times may still be in for a bit of a wait.

You're right, except I believe that started with the 04s. Since the mid to late 03s, we've definitely dropped in the rate of people getting their watch each night. Which means we get charged in the middle of the night/morning (after they roll off the assembly line and get boxed in China), and then make their way to a UPS plane and fly out that afternoon to Alaska.

Yeah, but the amount of people who placed an order at a time like xx:15 should be much less than xx:04. So the rate of order fulfillment will stay pretty steady but they could be moving through the minutes faster. Otherwise it would take years for someone who ordered the day after :)

Actually, the flights come in to Alaska from China. Once they hit Alaska, they are scanned in and associated to each buyer and you are charged, and within an hour or so(normally), your status is updated to preparing for shipment.

Then the watches are sent to Louisville for final distribution and sent on their ways to many different locations around the U.S.

Ordered two Sports on the 14th. One was a 38mm white and the other a 42mm Space Grey.

We got the white one last night (was originally set at 'June' delivery).
Space Grey still listed as 'June' and 'processing' :(

Even though I'm bummed about mine being delayed, I was able to completely surprise my wife with hers - I had told her that preorders were backed up so badly that I was just going to wait to order ours later.

This is a question for the "third wave" peeps like me. Here is my order info:
42mm SG
Ordered: 4/12 10:22 PM EDT
Ships: June
To: Louisville, KY
Other: 4/10 order already delivered

I thought I read where some folks with order dates beyond mine have been moved up into May. I ordered on the 12th and Apple actually called me on 13th from their Austin call center to inquire as to why I had ordered another watch. (I know; weird, right?) I hope I'm not going to be stuck at the back of the line for ordering a second watch. Anyone else who ordered 2 watches get a call like this? Anyone with an order date beyond mine (for a 42mm SG) have a May delivery estimate?

Awesome, thanks for that. Now lets hope the guys at UPS actually follow thru with my request if it comes to that.

They should and you'll see something like "Exception: hold for customer p/u" when you track after you make the request.

so is it safe to say the next wave is the delivery window for May 29th - June 11th? Looks like all of the May 13th - 27th are shipping this week.

I seriously doubt mine ships this week.. I'd be happy with a May 13th date since that's what I was given. I'll be ecstatic if it comes early..

We're talking "Watch's", not Phones, right??

42mm SG Sport
Ordered at 3:05a ( not sure of seconds)
Estimated delivery was May 12-27

Just wanted to say I was getting frustrated everyday checking my status and seeing processing especially when people behind me were getting there's but I toughed it out and just stopped checking and forgot about it and today I checked and it was changed. In my case me getting it before my delivery window is great. Keep the faith everyone and I will stick around and watch others receive there's!

Apple has a distribution center in Alasaka? lol, I always thought Alaska was just a gas station for the UPS planes on their way to KY.

That's what I thought. I can't see them taking everything off the plane just to scan it and put it back on. I think the charges happen when they land in KY.

Real time of order?

Well, this was a bit of disturbing information. I had heard of a few people contacting Apple Support to confirm the order time noted in their order confirmation emails, so I thought I'd do the same. For me, my order time was 09:17:06 (French time) according to the email, with the actual order being placed about 7 minutes before that.
I emailed Apple Support to confirm that, and they have just replied that in their system the order time is listed as 11:23:44!!!!! That's more than 2 hours later. Rather worrying. I hope it's just some kind of bug. I have had a May 12-26 delivery date predicted from the beginning, and that hasn't changed.

Yes, that seems to be where the initial scan starts and clears customs. This looks to be the same time when everyone starts getting charged. Then they are sent out to the main distribution center in Louisville, which are then shipped to the other locations to be delivered.

FYI - Here’s what the UPS Next Day Air package looks like…good luck everyone!
