I checked that, and though Apple gave me an alarming different time of order from the one on the email initially (11:23 instead of 09:17!) they then wrote back and said they had made a mistake, and that in their internal system the order time was the same as the one in the email. They emphasised that I had to be patient, and ironically it was just after that that my card was debited!!

so i placed an order on the 23rd for a 42mm SG and even though i canceled the order apple just tried to charge my paypal credit for it sometime in the night. reordered on the 29th using apple credit (barclaycard) hopefully i am not too much longer.
Right here with you. I'm wondering if people that reached out to Apple somehow got their orders bumped up earlier.
I did fleetingly wonder that when my card was charged shortly after an email exchange with an Apple employee (to check the exact order time recorded), but honestly I don't see how they could intervene in concrete terms... I think it was pure coincidence.

Good luck to everyone still waiting for your watch; just be patient! Ordered at 3:04:54. Charged at 4am yesterday. Requested UPS to hold my watch at a local UPS customer service center for pickup today and it is now available for pickup.

Yeah, just popped into that thread. They're still on 4/10 00:10 so I've got a LONG ways to go for that one. Being at 00:05:55 for the 42mm SG sport I can't help but check in on this thread daily (more like hourly lol).

I ordered the Milanese loop to go with my SG 42mm after seeing it on an SG at the Apple Store. Believe it or not, it looks really good with the SG and dresses it up amazingly. I didn't think it would be a good look until the Apple expert showed it to me. It'll be June before I see it on my wrist.

How so, haven't read about that. Though I'd imagine the quantities available are in very limited quantites.

There's a thread here that showed the two together. Didn't really like how the ends of the band clips into the watch. I was originally going to order a couple leather bands for more formal events (along with an extra charger), but decided to spend a bit extra and get the milanese unit as it looks better with the SS watch.
