Still absolutely nothing on the 42 mm black sport model. Nothing. I ordered about 5 or 6 minutes after the store went online. I'm seeing people with the same model who ordered after I did that are already getting theirs.
Still nothing on my 38mm SG Sport. Then again I ordered around 11:45 PM on April 10th. I did however get an early shipping notice on the 27th and now my estimated delivery is May 21 - Jun 4. :/
If I would have known all we had to do was play a little game to get it shipped we should have played a lot sooner. LOL. I'm thinking Wednesday. Think I can only handle so much excitement for one day and seeing my order finally prepare for shipment and delivered in the same day might just cause my head to explode.

Are all this order for 38mm for girls. Or does the 38mm also look good if you are a guy. Just asking because I was thinking about the 38mm.
I'm a guy with a 170mm wrist who initially ordered a 42mm, but after seeing the pictures and videos of 42mm watches in small wrists, decided to order a 38mm
I really don't like the bulky toy look in a wrist like mine. But it's up to you and your taste!

You ought to try both on in person before making a final decision. I thought the 42 looked large in all the pictures I saw. Then I tried both on in the Apple Store. The 42 was the perfect size for me. The 38 looked a bit small. It really depends on your wrist size. I'm male 5' 9" with average size wrists.
Same here, I was undecided so I ordered both online. Went to the store and tried them on. Instantly made up my mind on the 42 and cancelled the 38 while still in the store.

I was finally able to update my shipment to be picked up at a UPS location after it arrived in my city (but before it went out for delivery). Lets hope UPS doesn't **** this up and return the package.
Like eiprol, I'm a guy with just under 170mm wrists. I wanted the 42, but decided it was too big for me - and my wife and teen daughter agreed. The 38mm is about the same size as my regular watch and I didn't want the smart watch look. It's definitely a personal choice. I used the extra money to order a black stainless steel band from Monowear on their Kickstarter campaign. I should get my watch and band at about the same time.
I would love to, but here in Spain we don't have it on the Apple Store yet, and I'm getting it from France using a forwarder.
However, I already have a Pebble steel, which is pretty similar to the 42mm, and I really want it smaller than that. The pictures and videos confirmed it. Maybe it's in part because of the thickness, but I don't like watches which are that 'visible'; I really like a watch that doesn't fill my whole wrist, being more subtle and elegant (imho), and keeping a low profile... Just like my regular nonsmart watches
Anyways, thanks for your advice! I would try it if I could, just in case.
Watch arriving today
42mm space gray went from processing to preparing for shipment yesterday. Credit card was charged. Later on Yesterday got the shipment notification. Apple seams to be overnighting them over. Mine shipped from Ontario. Package is on UPS Vehicle for delivery today.

I received an email from Apple Sunday at 7am MST about my card not working (I ended up entering the wrong expiration ). After I got that resolved, Apple had charged my card and my order is now saying Preparing for Shipment!!!!

As you've seen from others, yes. My 38mm got charged this morning. Shipping to Michigan, order confirmation was 12:20:06 AM (Apple Standard Time).
I've been mainly following the 38mm SG specific thread.
And I am more than ready to start talking about my actual watch instead of the nebulous idea of my watch.

turns out i cannot get funds till the 13th of may for my watch ordered on 29/4 and have june delivery estimate..
if i get attempting to charge between then and then get a call / e-mail saying they couldn't get the money, if i phone straight after this e-mail (assuming it gets shipped before the estimate of june) will apple hold out, and if so how many days are they likely to do so? just until i get the funds organised?

Lol I think Wednesday too. I bet we won't see any change til tonight and then bam! It's there Wednesday. Are you going to pick it up or are you going to have UPS drop it off?
My card had the wrong expiration date(which on their end it looked like it wouldn't authorize), and they let me fix my payment method over 24 hours after I got the email. So that's as much as I know
