And once again, people who ordered after me are getting charged. Zilch on my end.

We should start writing letters to the editors etc. on newspaper sites as well as flooding comments on 3rd part sites about how bad this launch has been the only way Apple will take notice is bad press.

Anyone have a July ship date? Really hoping apple picks up the production of the watches. Shipping two months after the customer orders seems absurd for a product announced last year. Can't complain too much tho. Excited to see a little more movement today.

I can't disagree with you. I think their demand models were way off and they were worried about getting saddled with inventory. No excuse for Apple but even they have to admit this has been a colossal mess (they did in a way taking down the available on 4/24 moniker silently).

Agreed. They've got to be embarrassed about their pre release market research - that is, if they even did any. All in all, there's a lot they should learn from this debacle. There's really no excuse for us that ordered in the first weekend to be stuck in "June delivery hell".

I wonder if it wouldn't have made more sense to release 2 basic models at launch, say a 38mm sport with a white band and a 42mm sport with a black band. All of these different configurations have to make it a real mess to know where to focus your production ramp up having only 2 lines would simplify things greatly. hyped up pre-orders with 2 month lead times are something that should be avoided.

Yes, too many SKUs really complicated this launch. Typically they have a max of like 9 or so.

That's the most interesting and intriguing idea I've seen on this thread. You've hit the nail on the head pretty much; they should've released 2 basic styles of the Aluminum and SS models. It's the BANDS people should have to wait for - not the WATCHES!!!

Yes, they could have. Then cue the hordes of people who would have whined and b-----d because "if I knew that was coming in 3 months I would not have ordered this."

Trying to simplify a situation without any of tne info and data that Apple did have is awfully non-priductive.

Any Idea when mine will ship?

I ordered a 42MM Apple Watch in Space Grey on April 27th. Avail to ship in June, still processing. I ordered an Additional band and its set to deliver may 27th - June 9th, Maybe sometime then?

Super excited! Thanks!

Well , happy one month anniversary. On this day exactly one month ago today (10 April 2015) I , along with countless others, I placed a pre order for an Apple watch. Only to be told that my watch will be in processing hell from then until ???? ( well, they said it might ship between 29 May and 11 June). Now onto wait out month number two... Glad I pre ordered!!!

Gotta do something to pass the time. :)
