I have a theory that they are filling 42mm SGS orders from 4/10 and 4/11, pausing preorders to build up stock for retail stock and then fulfilling the rest of the preorders and starting in store sales within the same week (week of 6/15).
This is my hunch based on those of you who ordered on the 12th and are getting the 2-3 week email while those of us who ordered one day earlier are supposedly getting our watches next week at the latest

I believe all the "2-3 week" watches will arrive next week. WWDC is on June 8th which is roughly a week and a half away. You can book Timmy announcing Apple Watch numbers and announcing watch in store that Friday.
All watches ordered should be in customers hands

I think that is pretty wishful thinking. Unless my 4/11 3:48pm pacific time watch ships over night or tomorrow, I won't even be getting mine until Monday or Tuesday. My delivery window is 6/4-6/8 so I don't expect it any earlier than 6/2. I would think those who got the email are looking at 6/8 at the earliest. Sending out a 2-3 week email seems pointless if they really mean 1 week haha

That's what I have been thinking as well. I can't imagin Apple would have WWDC with thousands of
Watch pre-orders still not fulfilled. That would just be bad press for them. I'm also hoping they officially announce the new colors of sports bands!

I like that watch face as well, just wish you could put 2 smaller gadgets in the bottom corners instead the big long one in the center -- which I see you've turned off... Mine shows the long-form weather, and I can see why you turned it off ;-)

I already knew the 2-3 week thing because I check my order status multiple times a day.Got the same 2-3 week email today. Ordered April 25, 42 SG BSB. I went in and changed my shipping address a few minutes after I got the email to my business address (just a few minutes down the street from my original address) and my shipping estimate jumped to even earlier! Expecting June 15 now!

Interesting. I originally ordered on April 27th and cancelled in frustration only to reorder on May 15th. I have the same delivery window.
I ordered a loop band that was supposed to deliver between June 4-8. It shipped today and will be here tomorrow.
I'm thinking the holdup now is not manufacturing but planes. In two weeks we should all have our watches. June 15th at the latest.
I ordered the 42mm SG at 2:35am PDT on April 11. About an hour ago (8pm Hawaii time) it went to preparing for shipment and my credit card was charged! My estimated delivery date was June 5-8, but it looks like it's gonna come a little early!
How long does it typically take from going from PFS to shipped? I know others have said in this thread, but I can't remember and at 301 pages it'll take forever to find.

Not got a update on shipping but Apple trolling me. Woke u to a email which the subject read 'Your Invoice From Apple'.
Ohh how excited I was! Opened it and was presented with the last three items I brought from the iTunes Store! :|
Since when have they started calling it 'invoice' and not 'receipt' which it has been for years and I don't even notice them because I'm use to them! It's a new layout and everything. It's nice, just a very annoying timed change! Grr!

So they are getting close to mine (I ordered 13 hours after you). I don't know why, but the last couple of days have felt maddening while the couple of weeks prior to that I was starting to accept the long wait. So close!
There seems to be a bit of a change recently with the final processing of orders according to what I'm seeing in different forums. It used to be no more than 3 hours or so before it went from PFS to Shipped but now some orders are showing as actually shipping from China and those orders take significantly longer to make the transition.
I am really banking on the whole under promise, over deliver concept from Apple on this. Plus I think it would help win some of us over who have been waiting well over a month since ordering....just my two cents though.
They haven't been over the past few weeks. However, they've started charging cards and preparing orders for shipment in China this past week (as opposed to when the watches are in the U.S.) so that could possibly change starting this weekend.
Has there been any movement today at all? I was hoping some 11 April watches would be charged and shipped. Anybody?
Mine was April 11 at 2:35am PDT. Mine was changed to PFS and my card was charged last night. Shipping to Hawaii.
Yeah yours is still the fonly 4/11 I've seen so far. Was hoping my 3:48pm pacific time 4/11 would switch to PFS this morning but still processing.
