- Wouldn't it be easier to just return the one you don't want?

Thanks for the pictures. It looks great, especially with that single-key backlight on the keyboard.

It would either have to be return the Space Gray to the little store I have here, or an Apple Store shipped return, which is neither instant refund, nor “easy” for me!

I don’t have an Apple Store!

LOL, you can justify it however you want, but returning to Apple is clicking one button online, a pre-paid label prints, and the carrier will even come to your door if you don't want to drop off. eBay you'd have to sell, hope you get paid, figure out how to ship it, take it in for shipping, then wait as the money gets moved from paypal, fees subtracted, then deposited to your bank account, hopefully without any notorious eBay problems.

Sorry, not trying to be a jerk, but nobody is buying the "eBay is easier than returning to Apple" story... There's no logic to that except to make a profit. Zero.

Nothing is easier than returning an Apple product. You click return, print their free label, and the carrier comes to your door. Laptops returns are shipped to Apple 2-day, and the refund is issued upon delivery to Apple, always within 72 hours of when it leaves YOUR house. To say that's not easy means you're looking to profit, and that's fine, nothing wrong with that, but don't blow smoke at any of us.

Returning to Apple is far easier than selling a laptop on eBay and dealing with auction costs and the possibility of a bad buyer.

Nice pics. Pretty amazing you found one for sale!

From your pic, I see that it ships with 10.10.3. That's awesome.

Truth -- about eBay prob people! And I swear, I can't stand the marker-uppers, because I always want something Apple desperately and since we have no store, eBay is some of our only hopes. Unfortunately, I'm not able to ever compete with the people who can drop a ton of money.

Just sell it and make your profit. This is capitalism. There's nothing morally wrong with making money by selling something for what someone is willing to pay you for it.

Hey, so I just ran Geekbench 3 ... what am I supposed to set the processor to on there? 32bit and 64bit are my choices?!

You can try both. 64-bit is supposed to give a slightly higher score.

Try not to run them consecutively though. The performance of Core-M is said to be highly correlated to heat management, running two tests in a row may hence harm the performance of the second one. (Unless you are willing to do a more in-depth review of the performance.. For instance, you can run a number of tests sequentially and record the result of each one..)

Ah, very good to know. I will post caps shortly!

Both complete Geekbench tests have been uploaded on their site for you to visit under this username ... but here's a cap with the general info! Tell me what you think!

Nice!
Seems a roughly 10% performance gain over the 1.1GHz base model.

I should've ordered a 1.3GHz one before its shipping date slipped to 4-6 weeks.. That one perhaps can give another 10% based on the early Ukrainian video. But anyway, probably won't be noticed in real-world uses..

I'm pretty sure the 1.3GHz model always had the 4-6 weeks wait, because it is a build to order request.
