I want to know if anyone happened to come across and press images of the Space Grey iPad with the White Magic Keyboard

Would strongly recommend a keyboard skin to help keep it clean. Bought one recently and maintaining it now is much easier. Because of this should not matter what colour keyboard you get.

Nice rendering, but the white keyboard is starting to look dingy already! (Anyone who owned a white plastic MacBook knows what I’m talking about.)

Sticking with the black keyboard.

I have an iPad Air (Sky Blue) and I am getting a MK with it. I am leaning towards the grey but still undecided. I like the white but it will probably get stains on it... Does anymore have a white smart cover? What is it like after a year or so?

I wish there is a midnight blue option :)

I was also hoping they would update the MK...

Looks wonderful, but if I were to spend that much for the keyboard, I will get a black one that normal wear can be easily hidden. That white one is going to look terrible in a month.

Not so sure about that. Have you seen any black Magic Keyboards that have been in use for a while? They also reveal all the wear and tear, just in lighter shades.

I figure if I’m going to be constantly wiping it off anyway (as I do my Smart Keyboard Folio), I might as well get the white color, which to me is more pleasing than the drab sort-of gray/sort-of black Apple has been using for so long

It looks good brand new. When that white keyboard gets some normal use to it, it won't look so great.
Why do you think so? The white magic keyboard for iMac looks totally fine with the white keys, even years later. Whereas the black keys on Macbooks become glossy and start looking worn pretty quickly.

I’d actually imagine the white one will show wear and tear less than the black one, not more. White doesn’t show imperfections and stains as easily as black.

Discoloration would be obvious, but I don’t think it will tbh.

The material of the Magic Keyboard collects and shows dirt and dust very easily.

Hmm, I do like the space grey with the white keyboard in these photos. More interesting than the silver. May get that combo instead of silver + white.

Well I know what you mean. While we have ample selections of choices in smart folio, we don't have any in magic keyboard and folio keyboard. However, I hoped for more selections of colors instead of only white in addition to bloack. A black one can hide dirt and stain easily while a white one cannot.

As for wears and tears, I had my previous apple keyboard cover wearing out with skins tearing apart. It was ugly to say the least. For my Magic keyboard, I've applied dbrand's skin on it so it's going strong so far although nothing is protecting hinge fabric...

Kinda wish it came in more colors. I don't really like the black, because well for one, it's not black. I wish there was a mid-grey option

A Grey option would be nice.
I too am drawn to anything besides black.
But I fear there may be a redesign in 2022, again.
If we really receive Pro apps at WWDC 2021, the MKB naturally should gain a function row of buttons.

I really want the white MK to go with my new grey iPad Pro but it would get dirty and gross quite quickly I think. Unless they use a material that’s more similar to the white silicone iPhone cases? Don’t those resist dirt and grime more?

I cancelled my white magic keyboard, and will wait reviews hopefully near release before deciding which to go for.

Yep. This is why I didnt order mine along with the iPad Pro. If history is any guide, Apple will lift the review embargo a few days before launch (assuming this is to be May 21st), and I’m hoping some YouTuber subject the white Magic Keyboard to a “survival test.”

Anyone have real life pics of this color combo yet? Really curious what it looks like and I've only seen renders so far.
