Idk why but I just don't like the silver iPads. I guess I just don't like the silver border around them. But in general SG is just sleeker and it looks more like a "sheet of glass". The contrast in the silver just interrupts it. PLUS although the silver technically looks slightly better in the white case, for some reason it just looks too clean to me. The gray still looks good to me and you get a better IMO experience out of the case.

I'm so tempted to get the MKB, but I'm saving up for whatever new MacBook pro they release this year. I just feel like the MKB is not a good buy for me. I'm using my iPad just for taking notes with the apple pencil and other tasks that won't require a keyboard. Any typing and any other work that I need a keyboard for I will be using my MacBook Pro or iMac. So I'm seeing my iPad as more like a media consumption device and note-taking.

Those keyboards look amazing though. I got the space gray iPad Pro and if I were to pick one of the two, I would go with the black one. I don't think the space gray iPad goes well with the white keyboard. Some people may like it though.

Team space grey iPad and white magic keyboard here I come, no turning back now 😳🤦‍♂️😂

Anyone using their magic keyboard without a screen protector on their iPad like I intend to do?

Is there any chance i‘ll get keyboard marks on my screen that won’t rub off when the case is closed?

Using it without a screen protector and not possible. The keys sit in just a bit lower than the palm rest area surrounding it.

Anyone know how to change the cursor colour and shape? 👀😃⌨️

These magnets on the 2021 magic keyboard are strong as, when attaching the iPad it makes a loud thud, almost woke up the whole house 😳😂 safe to say the iPad ain't falling off anytime soon. 😃

How’s the typing experience thus far!? I am in love with the backlight. Never thought I’d appreciate that functionality as much with iPad.

Honestly picked up typing straight away, hardly no errors, feels like I'm using my MacBook keyboard 👌

Only negative, wish apple would add a backlit setting so we can adjust the brightness to the level we want instead of it being automatic.

I know exactly what you mean. Interesting that they put the slider in the Keyboard setting under Hardware Keyboard, but specified that it only enables when ambient light is low.
