I thought the emails sent to that address were read by a group of engineers regarding technical problems.
Maybe, if someone that reads it finds it interesting enough, they will tell someone else.

spaces would be a great idea.
I could imagin it it, three fingers held down on screen for 2 seconds and you get this (sorry about crappy animation)
Nice idea.

more convienent than always flipping to say the 9th page lol
Yep.

i dont see how that would be an issue, esp if you organize the apps per page like games on one, utilities on another, etc
Agree.

And the shrunken apps are still sorta visible.
Enough to make them out I think.

Or even name each page.
Interesting idea.

i lack steve jobs' email address
Isn't Steve Jobs email address sjobs@apple.com
Yes. That address is good for what you want. They will direct you in followup e-mail if need be.

Made a new concept to forfill some peoples complaints, what to do you think (again, sorry for the crappy animation):
Like the 1st one much better. Keep the idea simple and easy to use like the Mac OS.

I prefer the 1st one, with just spaces..
Agree.

Apple doesn't like people them idea, and if you send it anyways and they like the idea (this is assuming the look at it) then they take it. No credit to you. Sending apple the idea gives them full rights.

Adding to this: corporations don't like to be emailed ideas for legal reasons, so your email was probably trashed immediately.

what about having pages of spaces+when you tilt it, it goes into coverflow mode :p

Zym

To solve the "only-nine" screens dilemma, just make it so you can scroll once (like on the home screen) to the other three screens in the same view. Sure, it's an extra finger motion, but it's still easier than doing that finger motion 12 times to get to the last screen.
