Yes, plenty. For my case, most came from 163.com domain. I've reported them to Apple yet it kept coming back. Here is one example. Fresh from updating to iOS 15.1.Anyone else getting a lot of spam texts in iMessage since upgrading to iOS 15? Refund scams for ATT, Walmart, Zantac, Sams Club, and other types of scams with dodgy looking links
You can only blame yourself for that one ?I just got one this morning that came from myself…. iOS 15.4 and first of its kind.

If your service is ATT, report it by copy/pasting the message and send it to 7726(SPAM). It'll ask for the Number of the sending txt.Anyone else getting a lot of spam texts in iMessage since upgrading to iOS 15? Damn, I hate it when I sleep text myself lol.You can only blame yourself for that one ?
Oddly enough I cannot even remember the last spam text message I got.
It doesn't. See links above, the current wave of "Your bill is paid" messages is a targeted attack on Verizon customers.I don't think it has anything to do with iOS 15 though.
A warning about this for Verizon customers even made the local TV news in Boston. It doesn't. See links above, the current wave of "Your bill is paid" messages is a targeted attack on Verizon customers.

I wish Message has the equivalent of Phone's block all unknown callers for SMS and iMessage. Just filter them all to another box without notification so I can scroll through them once in a while.
Does "filter unknown senders" only sort aside iMessages? If so, this would make no difference to me. I have never received an iMessage spam -- not one. All spam texts I get are SMS.And had a bunch of these on ATT a month or two ago.
Filter Unknowns and turning off Unknown Senders notifications (and possibly turning on Direct Messages) not good enough? Sure, you still see a bubble for these, but at least not getting pinged.
Think that's as far as Apple can take the "blocking", as you do have the short code messages coming from doctors, services, etc that might be important and don't want to go too overboard with erroneously filtering important messages.
Yes, I did. I selected the message then used the forward option to SPAM.I guess you'll be reporting all those numbers to 7226?
Also happening on T-Mobile. Just started a day or two ago.And had a bunch of these on ATT a month or two ago.
