Special bags like iPhone 3g??

I just found my 3G box the other day, I didn't even realize I had kept it haha.

Yeah I am not buying in store, I ordered online- but I wold have to agree with a lot of the people on here and say that I would not want to be holding an Apple bag that day. Stupid small time criminals are everywhere these days and it's nothing to just rip a bag out of someones hands in a crowded mall. I'd keep the phone in your pocket or in a nondescript bag.

That bag can still be used because iPhone 4 still uses 3G.

Never really crossed my mind but now I'm considering carrying an extra bag/ backpack when I go to pick mine up.

I'm taking a backpack with me on launch day, so I'll put my phone in my pocket and the box and/or bag inside my backpack to keep from getting mugged or losing any fingers.

I think it's the best. You can carefully fold any special bag they give you as a souvenir (instead of getting it crumply); you'll be foiling potential thieves, but most of all, you'll be thwarting all the strangers who are going to say, "Is that the NEW IPHONE? Can I touch it?"
