was considering this and rugged armor. just want to ask if the back part raised higher than the camera lens? bcos on the rugged armor, the camera lens is very close to touching the surface when laid on its back.

The camera is fully behind the case on my model.

Have been using this case as well as the black apple leather case. Long story short, the apple case is going back and the liquid armor has become my daily driver. The fit is near perfect and it's compact. My only minor concern is whether or not the flash will be affected as it is noticeably recessed with the case on.

That's a good thing that the flash is isolated from the lens. Less flaring.

Got this one, and love it. Raised buttons are the best, and the grip pattern in the back helps a lot.

How's the overall size, thickness of material, width of phone with case on compared to the black leather case?

The leather case is slightly bulkier than the Spigen. Enough that i can notice a difference (as minor as it may be). I guess the best way to put it, the liquid armor almost feels as if it's part of the phone whereas the leather case is exactly that....a case. There's no getting around the fact that the 7 Plus is a big phone so one handed use is not happening, but I find it easier to hold the 7Plus with the liquid armor than with the leather case.

I have the Apple official black leather case on my iPhone 7 plus right now and I had it on since I got the iPhone last week, the case itself is very high quality, the only concern I have is the open bottom of the case that leaves the bottom portion of the iPhone unprotected,

is there like a matte body skin I can buy to basically stick to the bottom portion of the iPhone near the speaker grills and lightning port to at least have some sort of protection for that exposed area? Which brand makes it and can I buy it on Amazon?

I would return the IPhone case to Apple and get the spigen liquid armor instead but It seems to be unavailable on Amazon, spigen's ebay page also says oct 22 delivery with standard shipping which is way too far into the month

Does the liquid armor overlap or touch the screen because I'm putting on a Best Skins Ever screen protector and it goes to the edge of the screen and a case will lift it. Thanks

If you're talking about the edge of the actual glass where it meets the aluminium case of the phone, then yes the lip overlaps the the glass. If you mean the edge of the LCD panel in the phone, then you'll be fine

I still will probably use this case sometime
But just got the speck presidio grip and love it!! Also a great case, grippy.

Pricey but

Finally got my phone yesterday. Love this case. Very clean and low profile with excellent cut outs. Only problem is the sides are not as grippy as expected.
Anyway the 7 Plus feels smaller than my 6S Plus with the Neo Hybrid.

I was using the liquid armor on my MB 7 Plus but decided to order the Apple leather in storm grey. Except for the fact that the bottom is exposed, I love the Apple leather case in storm grey. Goes well with the MB.

When I took the liquid armor off, I noticed that it left the webbing pattern on the back of my phone. I was able to wipe it off with those disposable eyeglass wipes. But there is this one marking that I just could not wipe off. I'm not sure if it was caused by the case. First I thing I did when I got my phone was install the glass screen protector and put the liquid armor on. Another thing I noticed was that it accumulated a lot of dust, especially around the flash\camera area. This was after less than a week of using the case. I had a Incipio NGP for my 6 Plus and never had the dust issue.

Can you elaborate once this mark? I am very familiar with the webbing imprint that goes away but.

And really? That sucks on the dust front thought it would have been solid from the precision cuts. But I've been swapping cases so it doesn't really accumulate

Where is the mark? And is this still the recommended tpu case over Apple leather?

Mine just shipped today. (Original ship date was 12th). Tomorrow's my last day to return the Apple leather case so any input is greatly appreciated.

That one mark I couldn't wipe off could be caused by the webbing. It could just be the matte black and how it tends show this more easily than the Rose Gold, Silver, Gold, or the space grey from the 6.

It's a really nice looking case and I do like how the camera, flash, and mic cutouts are designed.

This is mark is really faint. Not really a big deal but I know it's there. But than again, it could just be how matte black is. I'm the type that obsesses over keeping my new gadgets in mint condition for the first few months and after that i'm more relaxed.

Still can't find this case On Amazon, would certainly order it but it says unavailable

Mine leaves the webbing pattern but it wipes away immediately, wouldn't have thought TPU could permanently mark aluminium.

If you guys are worried about the back getting marked and not the kind who takes their cases on and off, buy generic screen protectors and cut out the shape you want covered and stick it on the back or even packing tape.
I may end up with some scotch tape for the sides and packing tape for the back. I barely ever take of my cases.

Does the case fit over an extra screen protector covering the back?

I ordered directly from Spigen. I ordered it on the 4th and it showed shipped as of this morning.

Thanks for the heads up, i placed an order, should be delivered to me on Wednesday according to their estimate,

So you guys recommend applying a screen protector to the BACK of the iphone before placing the iphone into the case as according to some reports the case leavs marks on the iphone's back?

They wipe off it's not permanent marks, no need to use a screen protector on the black lol, Spigen cases have done this for years.
