Sadly the case is not as grippy as I thought it would be. Also the sides are not rigid enough to where I feel confortable enough to trust the case to not slip back to allow contact if the phone drops on the case's edge.

It does feel slightly smaller in the hand than the leather case though. I'm still torn between this and the black leather case.

Might wanna throw presidio grip in the mix. It's grippy

im personally returning the apple leather case as soon as i receive this spigen liquid armor case this tuesday(its already shipped on the way), i loved the apple leather case at first but the idea that the bottom part is exposed to the elements without any protection and the fact the case costs 50$ compared to 9$ for the spigen case.

i received the liquid armor for my iPhone 7 plus yesterday and its a really great solid case that protects the iphone all around unlike the apple leather case that has the entire bottom part of the phone exposed to the elements, for 9$ the spigen case is a no brainer.

Spigen has been my go to case maker for the last few years.
Also had the identical model (not sure if the name was the same) on my 6 and 6S and it was perfect. After a few months the case got a bit loose from taking off and putting back on but at the price it costs, it's a steal!

After two days of using the Spigen liquid armor on my 7 plus it's starting to feel cheap compared to The Apple leather case I had before it, it offers a great amount of protection it's just that I'm not sure I like the way it feels in the hand
I'm going to keep it regardless but just wanted to give my impression after some usage
I just wish apples leather case covered the bottom portion of the phone as well that way the decision was much easier on getting a case

It's funny we're in the same boat. I returned my Apple leather case yesterday because the bottom was open and I didn't like being paranoid about it getting damaged, and I went back to my Liquid Armor. I do like the Liquid Armor, but I really find myself missing that leather feel of the Apple leather case.

Don't forget though the Leather Apple case is £45 and the Spigen Liquid Armor costs about £8 lol.

These snug fit cases are never meant to be taken out.
I have a Neo Hybrid on my 6s Plus and even after only taking it out of the case about 4 times total, the bumper piece already feels a bit stretched and as well as more wiggle room on the TPU part.
That's pretty much the case with any TPU, silicon, or resin based cases.
Only the moulded hard plastic inner lined cases have no give except the ultra thin ones that don't have screen protection.

I like how sleeper this case feels. When face down, it's hard to tell a case is in it if you're not paying attention to the microtexture.
On the other hand, I wish the sides weren't as slippery. But the sides do seem less slippery than last week. Maybe the skin oils are making it slightly more tacky.

Like others, Spigen has been my goto for cases for a bit now. Love my Tough Armor on my SE. Their camera openings have enough room for my Moment Lens Bracket to poke through.

Yeah I mean I just love the feel of the Apple leather case it feels so premium but the open bottom is a real issue because if dropped on concrete the iphones bottom will get all chipped, happened to my 6S and it had the Apple leather case on it so I know exactly what I'm talking about, I wish there was some invisible skin we could install only for that bottom section and then just use the Apple leather case without worry so that at least that way the exposed bottom would have some sort of protection ,

I don't mind the Apple case costing 50$ compared to 9$ for the spigen by the way

Anyone have any luck with an E2E Glass Protector with their Liquid Armor?
Yes, although its a case-friendly E2E glass, not 3D curved. Meaning it doesn't curve around the full edge of the glass but enough to allow fitting of most cases with little to no gap between the case lip and the screen protector. I'm still rocking my Tateguard case friendly SP and haven't had any issue with lifting or dust.

There are a few brands with case friendly E2E glass (klearlook being another that I've tried)

if anyone in the NYC area is interested, i don't want to keep my Spigen Liquid Armor Case for the iPhone 7 Plus so send me a private message if you want it, im going to go and buy the Apple leather case again at the apple store, the leather case is really premium and i feel like my experience has been degraded with the spigen case so thats why i'm going back to the apple leather case

Any long term reviews of the liquid armor?

I've been using the Liquid Armor with my 7 Plus daily for over 3 months now. At first I was switching between the Liquid Armor (LA) and the Apple Leather (AL) case every other day, but after a couple of weeks I decided to stick to the LA because unlike the AL it allows me to put my phone down on dirty and wet surfaces (which I do several times a day since I'm always out and about) without fear of ruining my case.

However, I much prefer the in-hand feel of the AL case to the LA since the LA feels synthetic. It's not smooth enough but also not grippy enough which is my main complaint about it. Because of this, when I use my phone for extended sessions I will remove the LA and use the phone naked which feels much better.

Port locations, mute switch access and button presses with the LA on have not been an issue at all for me, although it might not work properly with a dock that doesn't have clearance on the bottom since the LA adds a bit of depth to the Lightning port.
