Spiegen Ultra Hybrid VERSION 2, 7/7+, who's in?

That's disappointing. That's one of the main reasons I didn't like the original version.
How does this case compare to the Spigen Tough Armor? That's the case I've been using since I got my 7 Plus. While it offers really good protection and looks sharp for a protective case, I'm tempted by the Ultra Hybrid 2.
Do you think this case offers comparable protection?
Received my case yesterday
1. It feels more solid than version 1 (less flimsy more rigid)
2. The "wet" look is not happening with my JB 7+ (I'm stoked about this)

So I caved and ordered one. I've had it on for a couple days and I like it but I'm still on the fence. I got used to the Apple cutout of the Slim Armor which helps with handling it, and I feel like the latter is still more grippy cuz of that soft touch coating. But I like the size of the Ultra Hybrid. 
Ended up going back to using the Spigen Tough Armor.
The Ultra Hybrid 2 is really nice that it didn't have the apple logo cut out. I have the Jet Black 7 Plus so it's nice to show off the back while it's still in it's case. One thing I noticed with the Ultra Hybrid 2 is that when I lay it on the table, it wobbles a bit (like it's bent), but when I do the same thing with the Spigen Tough Armor it doesn't wobble so clearly my phone is NOT bent.
One of the annoyance that I have with this case is that after using it a while, you notice smudges on the back.

Well this thread convinced me to try something other than an apple silicon case, for 10 bucks even if I don't like it I will just skip chick-fil-a that day or something lol. Anyway, I love my apple white silicon case on my matte black. Gives it that storm trooper look, but I really like the look of the phone naked. This is the first phone I didn't get apple care + on since it is so resistant to water and falls and whatever but I digress.

I decided to return mine. Just wasn't that grippy for me. Better than the original but only marginally. Back to my Slim Armor.
