Oh boy looks like a big gap, how does it feel when swiping from the edges? Can you feel the edges of the protector where it's an annoyance?

I'm assuming you're talking about the screen protector. If so honestly it looks worse than it feels. I swipe more from the inside edge of the protector, than from the outside
edge in. So don't really roll over the edge.

If you want to run with a screen protector you don't have much choice they will ALL be like this. That's just how it is with the curved screen. Only other option is to go with a wet application film...but imo those degrade the quality of the screen.

Do you think a case with an exaggerated lip in the front can cover up the exposed edges? I'm trying to click on and enlarge your photo but it's asking me to sign into yahoo.

Yeah but how about if you're swiping e.g from the edge of the screen when going back/forward in safari even if you stay within the screen protector does it work properly? Can we see a bigger picture perhaps upload attachment to macrumors?

Thanks

You can still swip back without starting on the outside edge of the screen protector. The protector pretty much ends where the screen actually ends. I still swip from the outside edge sometime and catch the edge of the protector. It's not horrible.

Will take better pics later after I finish closing my pool #

An exaggerated lip may reduce the amount your finger catches the edge. I think the added .4mm of the spigen airskin does a little.

Maybe someone with a white faced iPhone can post pics too. I would bet the edges of the screen protector would be much less visible on a white iPhone.

Hey guys, in answer to some of your questions, you do feel the lip when swiping. I was really hoping I wouldn't.

However, it's not as bad as cases where it is purposely trying to protect the screen when you set it down. The lip isn't that high. I'm not sure they could make it much lower really, and it probably won't bug me once I'm used to it.

It definitely doesn't interfere with swiping on or off the edge of the screen, though.

Definitely agree with what Vertigo50 has stated here. Can feel the lip, but it in no way interferes with swiping.

I too ordered the Spiegen Airskin, and I too am equally surprised at how flimsy it is. I want something thin but with a bit of strength to it. Any recommendations on something that fits that criteria? Would love to have something semi transparent as well to show off the good looks of the iPhone 6 if possible...

love my air skin and fits perfect.. only prob is, its so thin that camera still sticks out a little from the back when you put it on the desk etc.

Will use this for now so the back of the phone doesnt scratch and then order something little thicker that will actually protect the camera too.

Have you tried it on the phone yet? I know it seems flimsy in your hand, but once it's on the phone it's very tight and the phone provides the structure, so it doesn't bend or flex or anything. I think it feels great, and all I want it to do is provide a little better grip and protect from scratches.

Now, if you're looking for something stronger because you want more protection from drops, I agree this isn't the case for you. It's not designed for that.

But really, don't judge the flimsiness based on feeling it without the phone.

+1. It feels nice and snug when installed. If you want real protection (i.e. from drops), extended lip to protect the screen when laying your face down, or thick enough so the ring around the camera doesn't touch the table. This case IS NOT for you. If you want the feel of a naked phone, something to prevent scratches and weighs close to nothing....this is one of the cases you need to look into. My only grip is the color. The soft clear is too white for a space gray phone. The gray is darker than I had thought it would be and IMO has a brown tint to it. I'd like something to match more like the space gray.

here are couple more pics.

So I'm actually seriously considering taking the finest grit of sandpaper and filing down some of the lip to see if I could get it just a little lower. I don't know if I would totally ruin the look or the texture if I did that. Seriously, though, if it were just .5 mm lower you probably wouldn't feel it at all, and I bet it would stay on the phone just fine still.

Btw, I would obviously take the case off the phone first. :)

Just picked up my Spigen Air Skin today exactly what I was looking for.

Was wondering though if I should be concerned at all with the lack of camera protection it offers?

What is that case ? There is no gray option for spigen air skin

i just got one. in the frosted clear version, it feels like nothing is there with better grip.

Got any pics? I have the leather apple case but looking at this one too.

I'll see if I can get one with it on. Maybe in the mirror later. But here it is by itself

With the white/silver you can't really tell its on

Thanks for the pic, I really want this case but I have the gold iPhone and the gold version of the case looks way too dark..

I got the spigen air skin today and love how it looks on my silver/white plus.

Only concern I have is that there are already some signs of "creasing/stretching" either side of the bottom cutout. I've only fitted it once, removed it (due to lint, dust), and fitted again.
