I just don't get your argument. This is the iPhone 7. You know it and I know it. Five years of exact leaks is a pretty good track record to reassure my statements.
The problem is that these are based on part leaks. While true that in the past the part leaks have proved very very accurate it doesn't mean it is confirmed. It's like a 95% chance that it looks like the leaks we've seen, maybe even 99%; but it is not a certainty until a working unit is shown off. I'm sure Spigen is quite confident with the leaks as of late so they feel assured in releasing their cases.

Your missing the point. They don't mKe cases based off leaks. Doesn't make any business sense. They develop cases based off dummy phones sent to them from the manufacturer.

Spigen is a pretty reputable company. They know what they're doing. They wouldn't release these cases unless they're 100% sure of the iPhone 7's design.

And yet that's still not confirmation of anything, right?

Except that it happened before.

That's the first I'd ever heard that. I've heard of CAD designs sent but never dummy units. My guess is that they CNC a dummy based on the CAD specs. And even then I don't know if Apple ever has sent those BEFORE an announcement. Why would they when they're so secretive?

The case and accessories manufacturers get dummy models so they can produce products ahead of launch. Happens with every device. So yes I believe this is the new iPhone regardless if Apple announced it or not. How else would these manufacturers have cases ready when the phone releases. Happens every release. This one is no different.

I believe with about 99.9999% certainty that these are accurate dipictions of the next iPhone... But it's still not confirmed until it comes from Apple.

Errr. So what will happen if people order and the cases won't fit the 7? That would be epic.

Apple please surprise Spigen.

oooh it looks interesting :)

I doubt it... I am sure they get their hands of dummy copies of the 7 like I did

This has become a useless argument for the naysayers. These cases like the prior 5 years are based on exact dimensions and dummies sent from Apple. They will fit like a glove like ALWAYS from the reputable companies. This has entered circular territory. And Apple is not too secretive anymore there are people with this phone already. It's 2016, there are too many hands in the pot developing this device Apple knows there will be leaks they can only hope to contain some surprises, and design is absolutely not one of them. It's the only tangible indefinite leak we will always receive.

Says you but no one has yet shown any proof that Apple sends them designs or dummies before an announcement.

Spigen, maybe that is true; but it has been done many times before. I know of Android devices in the past that have had cases made for them, pre-release, by reputable manufacturers where cutouts were not in the correct places. With Apple's obsession on secrecy I just feel it unlikely they would even send a dummy unit to case manufacturers weeks before the event. Possibly true, but it still stands that the design hasn't been confirmed; just, an almost certainty that it looks like that.

Apple don't have the secrecy they used to. All these cases and dummy leaks are all planned to build the hype.

Just knowing the iPhone is coming doesn't build enough hype anymore.

In one case I read about where the cases did not fit properly it was due to Verizon imposing some sort of alteration to the chassis. It was only for that one carrier that the cases had one hole that didn't align properly. In that specific instance. You may know of others.

I ordered several cases from Ringke for my Note 7 well in advance of the Samsung Unpacked event. They fit perfectly. Ringke used a dummy that was still used to sell its cases on Amazon the last time I looked. It differed from the final product in that the blue coral dummy model has blue sides and not rose gold sides. But it matched up in terms of looks in every other respect.

I recommend folks check out the Slickdeals site to get prerelease bargains. Spigen occasionally releases some of its best case models that you can get for as little as $3 with a promo code posted there. You order through Amazon but usually choose to have the order shipped from Spigen directly. You have to check frequently or register there to get notifications. I don't know if Slickdeals works outside of the US but it's worth checking out.

Precisely!

Spigen has a stellar track record.

Having progressed to be a premier maker of cases, Apple benefits from cooperating with them to assure their products are available as soon as each new iPhone launches.

What makes you think they will be available at the launch of the iPhone. On Amazon UK both the Spigen and Ringke cases have arrival dates of late September or early October. Given that the new iPhone will probably be out second to third week of September these cases will not be ready in time.

I order them in the US every year and they usually arrive a few days to up to a week before release of the phone

Because that's how it happens. They will be available when the phone releases. Spigen won't state the actual release date. That's if they even know it.

Well I just preordered a Ringke case directly from them on Amazon UK and it's giving me a delivery date of October 1st to 10th. I also preordered two Spigen cases from a retailer called Keep In Case on Amazon UK and they have a delivery date of 29th September to 1st October. In my experience in the past these cases have never been ready for the iPhone launch.
