Yeah, watching spoiler free is better than seeing a movie, having someone ruin it is like when that dude tells the people waiting for Harry potter that dumbledoor **** or whatever.
ha! funny you make that comparison, I actually got that fact from Harry Potter spoiled for me in a spoiler-free thread for some keynote time ago. :D
By the way, on "The Sixth Sense", Bruce Willis is ...oh, nevermind ;)

Or the people that intentionally come in here to annoy people could post spoilers AND be banned from macrumors. The type of individual that posts spoilers in a spoiler free thread is surely a nuisance in more situations than this. Get rid of them.

you do realize that reading this thread is totally voluntary right? and that every year there is a cat and mouse game with the F@#$tards that want to spoil it and the good mods that delete post the moment we report them?

if you dont want it spoiled for real turn the dam computer off and step away from your keyboard. come back in a few hours and go straight to the main spoiler free story that started this thread and watch it then to your hearts content.

I'm usually semi spoiler free. I still like to browse the tech sites but do my best to skip over the Apple stories. Today is extra tough as my co worker is reading the live blog! He's being cool about shutting up, but it's so tempting to look over at his screen!

I'm excited too, but have a final exam to take at university today and won't be done for another 6 hours. Guess that's a good thing. I know if I cave now (which I won't) I'd be distracted on the apple site and all the forum threads.

A part of me running around with errands this morning thought...Who has time to get excited about apple keynotes anymore?

That's when I realized I'm no longer that 15 yr old boy anxiously waiting the first gen iPod nano to come out...

Then again, I am typing this on my beautiful iPad.

Woooooo! Keynote!

I won't spoil it for you guys, but what exactly is the purpose of not wanting to know now? I say this with the utmost respect to your thread.

Why bother going to live music gig when you can have someone describe what it's like one sentence at a time with blurry pics?

I was going to do the "spoiler free" thing like I did last time, but as I'm in the UK, its already nearly 8PM and I have a long busy day at work tomorrow, so I watched the blog on Engadget.

Enjoy the keynote folks, it still hasn't finished yet :)

As soon as the keynote is available for streaming is it generally also available for download at the same time? I won't have wifi where I want to watch it do my hope is to head to a café with free wifi, download the keynote in full, and watch it without an internet connection.

¿? What do you mean? I haven't spoiled anything, neither Apple nor movie related. I even censored that tiny Harry Potter spoiler when I quoted ghettochris.
I'm just passing time like everyone here.
I DIDN'T EVEN TALKED ABOUT THE FIGHT CLUB! :p

Well, thank you TouchArcade.

Just got major spoilers because you sent me a push Notification with your featured article.:mad::mad::mad:

My advice to all of you: TURN OFF PUSH NOTIFICATIONS.

I think it was available for download at about the same time. Maybe just 10 minutes later, or something like that.

usually the download from apple is around 700 mb for the low quality stream...unless you have a fast internet connection at your cafe, don't expect to download the whole thing at once

Some really good suggestions. Another one is Sunshine. Is it alot of sci-fi movies on HBO Go? hBO go is coming to Scandinavia in october. can't wait for that either :D

Sunshine is awesome, that was actually the first BD I watched when I got my new TV and I've shown it to many people since. Coincidentally I watched Shallow Grave yesterday, another great Boyle film.

Haha I think I've made either Sixth Sense or Armageddon jokes in here before.

AHHAHAH Exactly!!! Well being at the keynote would be the equivalent of being at the concert, but idea still definitely applies.

what do we usually do to pass the time? i'll be cooking my meal for the evening, but cannot decide! suggest recipes that a while, GOOOOOOOO!

This is a chocolate cake for 1 that will take between 3 and 5 hours to make. It was on Australian masterchef this past season.
