Spoiler-Free iPhone 2012 Event

The moon only has a two second or so light delay so it isn't quite the same as with Mars where you have to wait 15 minutes after it lands to find out if it succeeded or crashed. The whole schrodinger's cat thing probably applies.

Anyway, here's hoping the video is online soon so I don't have to stay up far beyond midnight. Which I usually do for these things. Curse you, Apple!

tbh i do have another 12 days off work where i get my food for free there, tempting, but after 3 days of the same food i might get very loopy
PRE-ORDER Concerns
I would prefer to be spoiler-free and watch the full keynote video
BUT
This is a good point bec. I have been waiting 3 years now since the 3Gs for an upgrade and would like to pre-order ASAP to get in the first batch..
Never can tell if there will be shortages as in the past..
BUT
iPad3 was a huge waste of time messing with the constantly failing applestore when I could have just waited a few hours then easily gotten a pre-order in..
Tim Cook seems to have the covered this whole short supply for the savy geek problem we saw with other product launches..
So i might check the very end of a liveblog to find out when the pre-order starts or
do you fellow spoiler-free-be'ers think it's ok for some brave sole to post just the pre-order info for those of us that are going to upgrade to the iPhone5 no-matter-what...

considering we all know its the iphone 5 yeah i don't see this as a problem from my point of view, just worried the pre-order page would spoil something about the phone! although i'm getting it no matter what! ahhhhhhh, im pulling out hair!

not ok. Pre orders for what? I don't wanna even know the name of whatever's coming out. Open a new thread "Spoiler-Free iPhone 2012 Event WITH PRE ORDER" and invite that brave soul over there. Might be too late though.

I hear ya on the cocktail part ... my friend is picking up whiskey as we speak.
Last time it was exactly 9pm GMT with the event starting 6pm GMT. Its been pretty quick the last two events (cleary using FCPX, lol) but it obviously depends on how long the presentation is. The only time I time I ever planned my time around it being early it was 6am the next day (unusually late) so lets cross our fingers and hope for another quick turn around

I've been trying to find as many lesser-ish known Sci-Fi films as I can recently, if you guys have HBO GO "Another Earth" wasn't too bad and reasonably unique and there's a ton of things on Netflix to watch. After I finish catching up on Homeland, what are some of your guys' favorite and not quite as popular Sci-Fi films? I just watched the original Solaris on BD and loved it, re-watched Dune and Moon on BD as well ...
