Cant wait until its posted.

A friend called and blurted one of the things out... and wanted to talk about it. I said ill call you back after i watch the keynote!!! lol :)

I hate having to scroll down this thread in fear. I have to focus on one word at a time, hoping that no one has posted anything that could reveal something.

The point of it being spoiler-free is so that the things that have happened today are just as rumored as they were yesterday. That means no "new" rumors, no "new developments" or "discoveries" or whatever. I don't want to know anything different about today until after I've seen the keynote. Period. Then I'll be up for new info.

Now I'm paranoid about seeing what I don't to see! I scroll down about 1mm per second

We are in the same boat my friend.

Thanks guys for the recommending Flux and BetterTouchTool!

What other apps do you guys use that you like?

I really like caffeine (a simple menu bar app that prevents your mac from sleeping while the coffe cup is filled, just click to toggle on/off), and NetNewsWire (for my RSS feeds).

Third time spoiler free for me...
I must say: Curse this information society we live in!

Can't check FB, my favorite news sites, and I hardly dare chat with friends in fear they will spoil it for me...
But it's past 2am and I'm tired, so here's to hoping for a joyful day tomorrow with some WWDC-goodness.
Darn it, I can't even dl new podcasts as I'm sure they'll have coverage.

Good luck to any and all who are staying up, have a good sleepless night. ;)

Hi all! Great to see my 'keynote family' here. ;-) I'm 100% spoiler free at this moment and intend to keep it that way. Will probably play a game to kill some time. It's 2.20am here and I'm not really tired yet.

Since we're all waiting here, let me ask our German friends a question: what if I'd drive up to Germany from Holland, would I have a realistic chance to walk into an Apple store and buy an iPad? Or is it sold out virtually everywhere?

Thanks in advance and keep the wait up! :)

I'd like to add (just a comment and a question) that i'm waiting for this on my girlfriends 17 inch HP laptop, as my macbook (UK, i'm on holiday visiting, with Apple care - no problem or cost, what a relief) is away for repair until friday due to overheating issues.
It was overheating in bootcamp ("we only do limited support"), in osx (with skype, opera, even safari) and i had to downgrade from 10.6 to 10.5, anyone had any similar problems? I took it to a Apple store back home who said that it was "normal, not a hardware error".

Instead of BetterTouchTool, I like Jitouch. Must sleeker, IMO. It is, however, payware.

And no offense against MR "newbies," but I'm less likely to read your posts because there's a greater chance of one of you being a troll — especially in this thread!

Hurry up and raise your post count, and I'll learn to trust you. :)

I'm going to try out Caffeine, like to let the Mac sleep when I'm not at it - sounds like a toggle which would be neat.

More of the posts I read from people who have had something spoiled for them, the more excited I'm getting to see the keynote. This year seems like it will be a big WWDC just judging some of the posts in this thread.

Can't beat Caffeine!

I used to use NetNewsWire, but decided I wanted to start using WebApps more, so I now have a Fluid SSB for Google Reader and use Mailplane for Gmail.

I use BusyCal for Google Calendar syncing though, as I don't love the GCal WebApp.

I use Tweetie for Twitter, Growl for notifications, Xmarks for bookmark syncing, Spotify for some of my music needs (and iTunes for the rest, obviously).

I also use Steam for Mac which is pretty awesome.

What else... Afloat to keep windows on top when watching videos and MegaZoom for fullscreening apps.

I also have an old Mac hooked up to my telly running Plex, which is a really great media centre app.

EDIT: No promises that if you go onto the sites for any of these apps that you won't see spoilers somewhere.

Never been spoiler-free, trying it for the first time today... It's MUCH harder than I thought. A few people texted me minor tidbits, my brother accidentally showed me his Safari top sites page, containing Apple.com (damn!), and my friend Skyped me a link to a tweet having to do with something announced today, which I stupidly clicked (turns out he had sent it before I had told him I was going spoiler-free...)

I'm really bored and I really don't want to see anything, and I REALLY want it to be posted already lol... Can't wait :D

Why not just use the energy saver control panel and set it to never go to sleep? And then if you do want it to sleep, just sleep it manually before you walk away?

Edit: Sorry, In regards to Caffeine I mean.

"From the beginning we designed OS X to be sleek, elegant, and fast; and with every version from 10.0 to 10.6, it's only gotten better. But we've been thinking in the past year since we shipped Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, where can we go from here? What do we do now? It took some time, and took quite a bit of brainpower, from some of the brightest minds in the industry, but eventually we came to the conclusion that the only place to go, was into space. Don't get me wrong, Snow Leopard is pretty cool, but we wanted something even cooler. That's why today, June Seventh, we're officially announcing Mac OS 11.0, Space Cougar. It's unlike anything you've seen before, and it's awesome. We'll have a developer preview out by the end of fall, with a public beta coming in spring 2011."

I'm trying :p I'm no troll (I'm a long time reader of macrumors, just never got around to signing up)

And curse my work mate who just came and blurted crap out.

Next time I'm calling in sick on keynote days :)

Since we don't have any Apple Stores here in Germany (besides in Munich) they are sold in normal electronic stores. I looked at one in Saturn (in Göttingen), but it seemed that they only had the Wifi-Models.

I don't think they are sold out and there weren't many people looking at those presented model either. I would call your dealer of choice first since the situation might be different in different areas and especially close to the borders.
