Regarding a possibly two-hour long keynote:

I concur. Because it's a longer keynote than usual, it's probably taking that much longer to edit and upload to their servers.
Last year's keynote was 2 hours long, and the stream was up by 8 PM EST. Now it's 9:23 and still no sign of it. Apple hasn't even uploaded the placeholder images.

*ehem

How do you know Im not a boy? Which of course I am.

HOMO!

Just to keep this all mac related, which of course it is. Are there any spoilers on this page? Like do any ********s try and ruin it for the rest of us?

They don't edit it. The camera changes and such are done live as they're broadcast to other rooms in the Moscone Center. We just see the recording.

Guess the baud without using google. :)

I would guess 150 bauds. I had a newer Radio-Shack modem and it was 300 bauds :)

They are becoming blinded by their share holdings, and market shares. I'd have the video up as soon as it was over if it was up to me.

Why wait?

Oh god... What if...

WHAT IF THEY AREN'T POSTING THE KEYNOTE THIS YEAR?!

;-;

I bet Apple's goal is to move the public away from the Keynotes (I.E. less focus on Jobs and more on the product). Jobs won't be around forever.

They probably want people to check out the site first so they can get info instantly and share the news. As opposed people watching a 2 hour Keynote and not sharing the info instantly.

I was ready at 10 this morning to watch.

Well that was stupid. Anyone who's done this before should know they don't usually get released until all the europeans have gone to sleep and the rest of us have all but lost hope.

If thats the case then they should start streaming the keynotes live, that way, we can see them instantly and talk about them instantly.
