Really? This isn't up yet? There better be a new Apple TV with a DVR and a new iPhone, and something totally unexpected out of nowhere.

But it's beta. What if it doesn't even work?

Many of us are also checking Apple's QuickTime keynote page in addition. Don't worry; it'll be posted here less than a minute after it's out, I promise.

Maybe they're not encoding it on Mac Pros, but on whatever they announced today, even if it's not hardware? If they were encoding a video in, say, just a piece of software without anything to run it on, that would cause a delay.

At this point I'd believe they are encoding it on a cluster of iPads!

Seriously, I understand what it takes to put this sort of thing out. It takes a little bit of time to push out from origin throughout the Akamai CDN. It doesn't take place in two seconds (as much as I'd want it to).

Seriously?

9 1/2 hours? I always go spoiler free, but I've never had to wait this long before! What the hells going on?

yes, but i know there's no tracker, this is not a torrent... i don't post here a lot, it doesn't mean i don't understand the difference between a link checker and a torrent tracker

In my opinion they have ported iLife to iPhone OS and are encoding the video on a new iPhone to show off ;D

Not all trackers are torrent trackers. A tracker is something that tracks something.
