Some body who's seen the keynote should read that article and tellmus if it's the reason for this delay.

The reason is...

THIS IS NOT A SPOILER.

Apple's WiFi network went out for a few minutes while Jobs was loading Safari.

Wow, that was typed on an iPad landscape keyboard. I didn't notice all of the typos. This was typed in portrait.

I went to CNN.com without thinking and saw this NO SPOILER headline: "Technical difficulties hit Apple event." Maybe that is why it is taking so long for it to be uploaded?

Some people are saying this is a spoiler, but I can confirm that CNN.com has on the right side of the page "Apple CEO has live technical issues" (with no other spoilers).

Wouldn't surprise me if they decided to edit out some parts, but it would surprise me if they didn't post it at all.

How the heck is that a spoiler?

Many of us here do not want to know what's going on because we want to be entirely surprised by what goes on in the keynote. We don't want to know what's going to happen. It's just more interesting that way. It just... cuts away at the point of this whole thing. In any case, goodnight.

You're missing the point. That headline itself is a spoiler. It's not JUST about what Apple announces, we want the keynote to be fresh and new as well. Jeez.

You have half of the freaking planet waiting up into the very early morning hours (according to their time zone) waiting patiently for your staff to upload the wwdc 2010 keynote video.

Sleep deprivation is a form of torture you know. Or is it that you very much in fact know this?

Some of us like to have they keynote details be a surprise. We actually enjoy this. Please, please can you please see what the problem is?

Apple has never taken this long to upload a keynote video.

If you've decided not to post the video then please tell me now so I can pass the info along to the rest of the planet waiting on together in various apple forums.

Thanks.

.........Just sent this email to steve.

It's been nearly NINE HOURS since the event ended. Kids with CyberShots upload their videos to YouTube in less time it takes a fat kid to scarf down chocolate cake.

Reminds me of this...

They've posted keynotes with technical problems. I think there's at least twenty minutes total of videos showing technical problems at older Apple events, so they wouldn't not post the keynote for that reason.

I think we disagree with what a spoiler is. I might as well have said what color shirt Steve was wearing. It really has nothing to do with the conference or anything they have to announce. It's irrelevant. Besides, I'd assume Apple is going to edit it out of the video. :p

That's true, I just hope the delay is not because of "editorial" reasons, though as you say, based on past history, there is no reason to believe that Apple would do this.

It is because now everybody is waiting for the problem to happen which kind of ruins the fun

Steve, get going please!

just go away. You've done enough

In other news, Dexter is on sale for $20 per season in SD and $30 per season in HD. Season 4 will also be available June 14 on iTunes. I own all three on Blu-ray and have seen the fourth, just wanted to throw that out there...

Revealing anything from the keynote is a spoiler!

If somebody slipped and fell on stage, and some genius posts that in this thread, then that's a damn spoiler! Even though that would have nothing at all to do with any new product releases!
