The technical difficulty is definitely a spoiler, albeit a minor one. It was important enough to make the news.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but...

Can you edit your original post please. Mentioning what was or wasn't announced at the event is also a spoiler. Were so near the end.... Please people don't fall apart now :D

Damn. I had actually convinced my girl (who, as usual, is bored by all this) to watch the keynote with me. We waited and waited like the rest of you, but she called it quits @11:30 EST. I can't wait another spoiler-free day without frequenting my usual sites. :(

So I guess I'll be watching it by my lonesome after anxiously yappin' it up through the night with you nerds on a 1400+ post thread about NOTHING. Can't wait to tell her the final post count once the keynote's finally online. But if anything it will just illustrate the sad state of my/our geekhood.

God help us all.

Newcomer here

So I'm actually on vacation this week in Canada (from Texas) and we got back to our condo after a nice day sightseeing --- I was fully expecting to be able to come in, have a glass of wine, hook the MacBook up to the TV, load up the keynote and enjoy all of the greatness that is Apple. But it's 10pm now here and still no keynote. I'm shocked. I have gone spoiler free for several years now and this is the longest wait I can remember. Something isn't right :(

To clarify:

1. Do not post ANY information obtained after 1:00PM EST on June 7 (the second the Keynote started).

2. Rumors from this past weekend are most likely accurate, so please don't share with others who have not heard them.

3. Do not talk about Fight Club.

If Scott Forstall walked on stage, that is a spoiler; no matter how little or stupid, it breaks the first rule.

Ya know...I think being spoiler free really comes down to this. Whether the keynote is boring amazing or riddled with problems and technical issues dosen't matter. We just want to pretend we were there. That we were sitting front row when Steve sent some good news past our virgin ears.

Actually, I wasn't the first person to post it (I only confirmed it), AND I am not the only person who is claiming it isn't a spoiler, there are plenty of rational people that agree with me.

Why is it that you demand that I see it from your perspective while refusing to see it from mine?

Matthew

because this is a place specifically for people who don't see it from your perspective. I just checked the last pages, so the fact there were others before you I didn't call out makes no difference to my point.

I can sleep when I die :D
