Yeah, same color but 2 sizes. I'm sure you could find people to swap with at the Apple store on day 1 or after on this forum, friends etc.

Sport Watch comes with 2 bands

On the apple website under 'What's in the box', it says thewatch sport comes with two straps. Is this actually two separate straps for the watch or just the two parts of the strap?
I read that it will be 2 separate straps, different sizes to ensure a proper fit.
They are different sizes to fit most wrist sizes.

My wrists are small but 130mm is ridiculous! But yes, I am also glad that it'll fit my wrist!

Sometimes I think my wrists are not far off from a skeleton's wrists, LOL.I think it's a wise choice from Apple, anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if kids/teenagers eventually end up wearing these as well.
Yes I noticed that and it was something worth talking about! I do wonder if we will have two free picks between bands. Or would it be that one band connects as two? Im not sure lol.
All it says is that it comes with 2 bands, no other details. So how do we know if it comes with bands only of the same color, or if you can pick between 2 different colors, or if they automatically come with 2 different sized-bands of the same color?
So if you decide to get the Sport edition. Can we change the bands out? I know Apple is not making any of the other straps for the sport, but will we at least be able to get 3rd party ones?
I really don't want to spend the $600 for the Steel on, but I am not that big of a fan of the sport strap. I could deal with it if we could get different ones down the road.

Oh that we will be able to change the strap. Will we be able to use any of the other Apple straps?
Yes, we will be able to select and Apple band and apply it to any watch. Meaning if you have a Sport, you can have any Stainless Steel band on it.
Well then I will be getting the 48mm sport. Thanks for the info. Now I think I am totally on board. The Stainless steel looks the best to me, but not practical at all. $600 for a watch that will be out of date in a year.
38 or 42? lol. Anyway yes you are right. It will probably be out for a year. But then what we can do is sell it before version 2.0 comes out and get that second watch when it comes out.
Sorry yes 42mm. The sport just seems to make the most sense for a first gen Apple wearable.
I can see people swapping bands. I won't wear the large band so I would swap that with a small one of someone else haha
