Sigh, another Milanese Loop connected upside down. The loop part is supposed to be on the inside of your wrist not outside.

If the loop and magnet is on the inside of the band how do you put it on and tighten or loosen it?

EDIT: don't worry just understood what you meant! The loop bit should be at the bottom of the watch. I shall make sure it's put on correctly at my try on tomorrow evening!

I mixed the silver sport with Milanese loop and I think it looks great. See my video below. This one is a 38mm because I have small wrists. What do you guys think?

Damned that's looks great indeed. Maybe even better than on the RVS model.

That 2 shiny parts at the end (How it attached to the watch) are a little off but nothing dramatically.

I was just a bit bummed that i only got hold of a Silver sport with normal shipping times but you my sir made my day. I am going to buy an loop band :)

I tried it on today as well. I love it

Right, the loop is supposed to be at the bottom of the watch. :)

What is funny is that if Apple made a space gray Milanese loop it would be the perfect pair, but the band alone is probably driving a ton of people to opt for the SS model over the sport, and so they will never make it.

I saw a milanese watch band on Amazon for 74.99 . a much better price than the 200 plus apple wants. I love the milanese bands
First off, it's $150 for the Milanese Loop.

Second, you really trust those companies claiming to have the same high-quality product for half the price? Let's get real here. They're using Apple's stock images to pass off as their product, because they don't actually have a product yet.

OMG!!! i love it a lot. my apple guy wouldn't let me switch bands so i was trying to picture those two together and couldn't really get a good picture without seeing them connected. I got white 38, but i wish i got a 42... I can't fit the 38mm milanese loop

Anyone seen real life pictures of that combo yet?

I tried this on yesterday, took a couple of photos of it. This is the 38mm model bearing in mind. This combination really looked great in my opinion and seemed to compliment each other for a more elegant and classy look than the sport bands :)

The only thing that doesn't match is the SS edging on the sides of the loop connector-the rest of it looks perfectly fine.

Agreed. I was personally quite surprised at how forgiving I was of these small details when seeing them in person. I think it's easy to look at these huge zoomed in photos and forget it's actual size :).

Will definitely be ordering a Milanese band once my 42mm silver sport with white band arrives, put it that way :).

That does look nice.

But you should do something about that rash.

I'd wondered about that myself. Seems like stainless+aluminium will be fine from a galvanic corrosion standpoint.

It may still be a fashion faux pas, but who cares: Today's faux pas are often tomorrow's hot trends. :)

Thank you for that chart. What a concept: actual information to combat all the misinformed conjecture! Appreciated.

Could be a cultural difference, but pink and red are pretty standard and considered "safe" in girls" kimonos.

As another poster mentioned, it all depends on the tone. Change the pink in those kimonos to a My Little Pony-spectrum pink, and ow-my-eyes. What makes the kimonos work is that the pink they use is a whitened shade of the same or a complimentary red as used elsewhere in the design.

But of course this takes the thread in a direction pretty disconnected from the topic, which is whether polished metal and matte metal can be seen together on the same product. And the answer is yes: it's a common combination. Automotive example:

Thanks for the advice, you lovely polite person :)

Well, you're mixing pink and red...

I think a later poster pointed out my mis-reading of the chart, and I do think I got it wrong.. There is a chance of corrosion under lab conditions with pure samples of unfinished metals. I'm not sure how (or if) that translates into a significant risk for the watch.

I'd try it. If anything goes wrong complain to Apple. They're usually good about making things right.

That doesn't look too bad compared to the Space Gray Sport + Milanese Loop combo; however, I dislike how dull the aluminum case looks next to the Milanese Loop. IMO, if you really dig the Milanese Loop and find yourself wearing it the vast majority of the time, the SS model is the way to go.

I don't think it looks that dull, but I know what you're saying.

Definitely going to order the Milanese Loop in a couple of weeks.

I'm thinking of backing Click as well so I can get a SS link band with an Aluminium set of adapters so this is where the beauty of having the ability to customise your straps regardless of what type of watch you have.

That's a great picture! Looks a lot better than I expected!
