Well I will try this solution even that I don't have Spotify anymore because im switched to Apple Music :/

I use this site as a Spotify replacement on my beloved 12" PowerBook: https://spotfy.one
Found it recommended on ytprivate (an Invidious instance) as a privacy oriented Spotify alternative. The site retrieves the tracks from youtube and works great, the interface is very well done. You can even create an account (which i did) and create playlists, mark favourites, etc.
It works well on InterwebPPC, but if you want better speed and recreate a Spotify client app in your dock, you can use a tenfourfoxbox like myself:

I tried that last year and it wouldn't load then forgot about it- "oh ye of little faith"
I've attached an "InTheBox" spotfy.app for those of you who use InterWebPPC. It's based off of a modified tenfourfoxbox.app specifically for InterWebPPC.

I am using the InTheBox app to run spotfy on my G5 1.8 DP. The CPU usage is very high. I was hoping to use this in the background while I worked in other programs. The CPU usage was even higher when I had Safari open. I assume this is just normal?

Did anyone ever get despotify to build from macports? I run into an error when trying to build it. I'll attach the log if anyone knows what's going wrong.
