This is great, but even the "limited" ads are too much for me. We have ad-free Hulu and I find it worth the extra few bucks a month to not have to sit through the ads -- especially because they can never seem to come up with more than like three to put into a viewing session so I'm seeing the same ones over and over, which is even worse somehow.

Tempting if your on Directv now with all the price increases coming.

Damn, no offer for the ad-free version of Hulu (which is great IMO). Would be glad to pay the $6 extra on top of the Spotify subscription.

I would not be surprised if Spotify’s offer foreshadows something similar that Apple is going to announce at its showtime event. It feels preemptive.

Hulu must make most of their money from ads. I got it this holiday season for 99 cents/month, and now they are practically giving away the plan with ads for free with Spotify.

After using this Spotify and Hulu deal for a month I'm loving the music more than Hulu.
But what gets me is after purchasing Apple iCloud subscriptions and app subscriptions and purchases they are all at the listed price. Usually 99¢ a month. Spotify' deal says $9.99 / mo but they also charge sales tax. That's a new one for me when purchasing online streaming music cloud services. I'm really wondering if they pay the tax to my state or just pocket it. Seems odd that this one online service charges tax.
Is there any other streaming service that charges tax?
