Works too well for me- I up'd it, resprung, and I had icons missing, icons in the wrong spots, no phone icon at all. After messing around, renaming icons, disabling it, etc., I discovered a new setting in Capabilities named Telephony. Switched it on and my (custom) Phone icon reappeared, allowing me to use the phone to.... make calls! There are also OFF/On buttons for Appstore, Contacts and others there as well. Everything seems to be working now, but sheesh, for a minute there.... 
Guys, Guys, Guys...You all need to slow down a bit and quit taking everything for granted. I have installed the update and my Springtomize is working perfectly. I have no issues and have not had to reinstall anything that I have previously replaced.
You need to take a look at what you have installed and that it may be causing a conflict. It is not this app because mine and I am sure many others are working fine. Use troubleshooting techniques until you find the culprit. Make sure that you have activator installed. Try rebooting your iPhones a few times...not respring. It will kick in unless there is something you have installed that is causing a conflict.
Sorry to say, but the app is working and working fine...my only issue is the folders issue I posted before...ALL icons resize in and out of folders and folders do not resize so my icons in my folders are displayed outside of the folder...frustrating but not worth crying about.
Dont take everything for granted...this is a new app and the developer needs your help in finding conflict errors so he can either fix or guide how to avoid the problem. With Apple changing stuff every single update has caused a constant battle for developers to keep the stuff functional, it is not the developers fault that Apple wants to be a bunch of dicks and make things difficult. Nagging on the dev aint gonna fix things, helping him trouble shoot will. Lets remember, if everyone keeps nagging, he can just say the heck with it and let a really great app go to the wasteland. Try to understand and have a little patience.

Troubleshooting Techniques=Turn EVERYTHING OFF in Springtomize.
Start in General and turn one thing on at a time and respring.
Skip Capabilities and leave EVERYTHING OFF for now...I have a feeling this is where your problem is.
Go to the rest and only turn one or two things on at a time.
This technique will tell you and then you can tell the Dev what is NOT working so he knows where to go to fix the incompatibility with 4.3.1
A Dev cannot know or plan for what everyone has on their individual iphone, he can only work off of what he is using and reports of bugs/errors. Just like what I am using is not conflicting, others are using multitudes of Cydia Apps and with Jailbreaking, each of us has an individually different iPhone. Because of this, you must use troubleshooting and take baby steps, not only to help yourself, but others.
Patience...it will work, just have to find the bad egg.

This app is pretty boss, a few kinks to work out based on other reports, but I don't do too many things with my phone so it's working perfect for me. Thanks developer
syncing with iTunes
hey all, I'm still quite new to Springtomize. I just got the 1.4 on 4.3.1 iOS. All seems to be work for me. I have a question about syncing with iTunes.
When I connect my 3GS to itunes, it automatically turns off my sync app. I have to manually go back to check Sync App and check the apps I want to sync. Once everything is synced, i loses most of my setting on my phone with Springtomize. Any idea how to fix this?
My friend who is on 4.2.1 iOS doesn't have this issue. I'm wondering is it because of my iOS?

I'm running iOS 4.2.1 on iPhone 4. Please fix these outstanding issues:
1. Show charging function doesn't show the battery with the plug or charging symbol to actually indicate what's going on. (This hasn't worked since the first version was released.)
2. A conflict with FolderEnhancer where the open folder animation stops working after a while.
3. When sliding over to the spotlight the transition of the dark mask is gone (drag slowly over to spotlight and you'll see what I mean).
4. On the tv off animation, it is mistakenly set to fire whenever the sleep/wake button is pressed. This causes and issue when pressing the sleep wake button while in a call where the standard behavior is that the screen locks but stays lit up until the button is pressed a second time. Just write an exception for this animation when pressing sleep/wake while in call && screen is unlocked (easy fix!).
5. I love the speed up animation option, it would be great if you could add functionality where wouldn't apply the clocked up speed to gaming applications as it affects playability. Should be able to find the app category in the apps info.plist file.
Side note:
I hooked you up with a @stm_dev who told you how to successfully detect when headphones are connected so you can make a custom increase/decrease that only applies when headphones connected in MyVolume. Please add this!
Thanks for writing tweaks with great features! Please maintain a high commitment to quality where you ensure that all the features work before focusing on adding others. I'd rather use a product that is slower to add new features if it is bug-free and works as expected. Thanks!

For the most part working great on my i4 running 4.3.1. However, I can't get Fake Carrier option to put a custom message up in Status Bar and I cannot get Status Bar Custom Color to show "Transparent." The colors show up, just not transparent. Other than that, the only issue I had was when I did an initial setup after installing my custom 4.3.1. Everything (icons) kinda "slid around" until I disabled the app and arrange it all (using FolderEnhancer and Infinidock + Gridlock). Icons really just skipped around, wouldn't place, and folder were very wonky. As soon as I turned it off, all was well. After I was done, I simply re-enabled it and all was fine.
So I tried restoring the layout from inside the "icon" section and it doesn't seem to work. Aside from going into saved layouts and clicking one of them and respringing, is there anything else that needs to be done? Im using an iPhone 4 with iOS 4.3.1 with FolderEnhancer. There are times where my springboard crashed and all my icons get taken out from the folders and spread out to 11 pages, and i really hoped i could have a way of auto saving a layout and restoring it very quickly (saves me a TON of time)... thanks!
What settings do you guys that have it working recommend to save some battery life? What do you have disabled?

Same here. The icons end up looking like their non-retina on the iPhone 4. I disabled it until the dev can make it work better.
Fake carrier is the only thing not working for me...so I just downloaded another cydia app that lets me change the carrier name
i can't seem to get the time to show in the status bar on the lockscreen...

So after a day playing with this, most things seem to work. However, it sure makes setting up my Springboard difficult when it is turned on. FolderEnhancer gets a little strange and trying to grab and move icons is really difficult. I think it may have to do with Gridlock, but I haven't taken Gridlock off to see. Other than that, the small issues I mentioned in my post above this one still apply. The app just gets better and better. All hail the dev for putting so much time into it, and (patiently) listening to us all carp and request.

I had to remove folderenhancer...to many conflicts but have left gridlock so that I can move things where and how I want them. Currently, gridlock does not have any conflicts.
I do miss folderenhancer because at least the icons were inside the folders, now they extend outside of the folders because of the resizer option in Springtomize. I have had to deactivate that option until its fixed...made my folders just look to terrible.
Recommend you keep gridlock until it becomes an option in Springtomize.
I have the opposite issue. When I try to do an icon setup with Springtomize on, some of the icons are hard to "grab," some skitter away to the next page, and it's just instant frustration. I turn it off, all my folders empty (arghh) sometimes, but then I just arrange things back into the folders and then arrange icons on the Springboard and THEN turn Springtomize back on and all is fine. Now, if I dl a new app, I can place it with no issues in a folder. I have all transparent icons (my own, not through Springtomize, truly transparent until pressed), with the name of the app in custom type inside each icon. No labels, of course. They go up both sides of the Springboard in single rows of three, and then I have eight in Infinidock with three folders at the end. I also have two quick-dial icons for home and wife placed over the faces of my wife and myself on the Springboard wallpaper for quick calling. So my setup is quite precise, in a very simplistic manner. I spent at least an hour messing with it last night, finally getting it back to where it was before the latest JB to 4.3.1 and the new version of Springtomize. Just think skitterbugs on a pond and that's what it was like.
