Welcome to the thread for the Sprint 2018 iPhone pre-order thread.

If the rumors and leaks are true; which iPhone will you be getting? And are you using the Sprint App, Sprint.com, Preordering at a Sprint store or just camping out on launch day.

If everything is true I’m going for the highest GB iPhone(even though I don’t need it), the largest phone size and the gold color.
 
I’m going to switch from att to sprint since they have a better deal for me. I want the smallest one with wireless charging they will offer.
 
Really digging sprints unlimited plans where they don’t even throttle 1080p YouTube. Probably sticking with it again this year.
 
We had 69 fun filled pages last year, let's see if we can top that!

With Sprint's notoriously poor pre-sell Zero Hour web support, I'm not holding out hope that my order does not hang again, but I'll be here @ 3am eastern time nonetheless.
Luckily, I have the ear of a rep in Executive Services. He was able to get a new order processed 8 hours after pre-sell zero thirty and we still got our X's on launch day. Was even able to get the 50% promo applied that many here had trouble enabling for the X.

I'm definitely in for the 6.5" OLED X+ as I miss the screen real estate.
The mrs having just upgraded her 1st gen Apple Watch to the series 3 last week via a Sprint promo SAID she was going to sit this one out, but after the keynote tomorrow, I'm fairly certain there is one killer feature she will need to have, LOL.

Looking forward to hearing from you all what your plan is, hearing all the great experiences and commiserating when things go south...

I’m switching this year from ATT. How do I preorder a new phone on a new account and port my number over?
 
So I'm guessing Sprint.com will have the ability to preorder and switch to iPhone forever program the same time apple.com goes live?

Let’s see I am ready but last year was the worse. I had three devices trying to order. I have to be the work in the morning but I want my iPhone. I will be up and ready at 3am.

Edit- I just downloaded the sprint app and I was Apple to get in line and preorder.

I was able to reserve my spot. Let’s see how this all pans out on Friday.

There was last year, although many existing customers had issues getting it activated.
I traded my leased 8+ and got 64gb X @ 1/2 off. Get a 22 credit for each line every month...

This is my first year on sprint and pre ordering through the sprint web site. Is it really that bad?


It’s been atrocious for me the last three...

8+ was done in store, ordered Jet Black.
Rep changed the order without asking or notifying me.
In a nutshell, I would up not getting a new device until late December that year.
Only good thing is it got me a contact in Executive Escalations. They wound up giving me 500 credit, let me keep my leased 7+ and reset my availability to upgrade, which brings us to last years X pre-order.
They added telesales support for 12am web support, but even with that, many users (me included) that had orders in place had them still showing as just pending the next day.
Glitch in the matrix, all those users had to go through the entire process again, with some having additional problems because the hanging order made their upgrade elegabilitu vanish.
Luckily, had my executive contact conference in with tele sales later that afternoon.
Got the 50% off and device showed up on launch day.
Now, although my upgrade is available, when I try to use the app to use the “priority status” pre-sell line reservation, I keep getting an error message saying:

Pending upgrade order. System should reset in 15 minutes.

Nothing pending, won’t reset.
Even my Executive rep can’t see it or why.
Another glitch in the matrix.
Sure I’ll get it sorted in time to have the XsMax in my hand on launch day, but WOW.
It should not be this convoluted..
