iPhone 8/Plus Sprint Advantage plan + Apple iPhone Upgrade Program?

Can this be done? My wife has an Advantage plan with Sprint because her Dad works for Sprint and She wants to join the Apple iPhone Upgrade Program. I know I had problems joining with my company's business program with AT&T, so I wanted to see if anyone has successfully doing the Apple iPhone Upgrade Program with a Sprint Advantage plane?

If you are a family member of an employee, the employee can get you an advantage plan which is kind of like an employee account except it is your account and does not belong to the employee so like billing and account changes and all that are done through the account owner and not tied or controlled by the employee.
