Sprint and Verizon iPhone 4S Pre-Orders Begin

Got the email confirmation for my reservation; but I haven't gotten the email to finish my order =\

I got the email to finish my order by Saturday 5pm to maintain the priority of my order.
I've been trying but couldn't get through to complete it yet.
 
For people who ordered through AT&T, did you get an email confirmation? I haven't yet and that makes me nervous.
 
On APPLE's site I am getting "Your request couldn't be processed." message after checking eligibility. But I was able to get through this the first time I tried and went through all the way to select the message plan, but then it got stuck.

On ATT's site I am getting the P1234 error after selecting the phone I am trying to upgrade. I am wondering if this has to do with being a premier member? When I ordered my 3GS 2 yrs ago I have to do it on a special premier site, any other premier member getting this problem?

Yes. This is exactly the set of problems I'm running into. No iPhone order, but now I don't feel so alone. :)
 
Anyone else getting this on AT&T? After my first time out of pre order attempts I am getting this consistently...

I have a discount on my plan through my company...does that make me premier? What premier site did you have to go to for your 3GS?
 
Looks like one of you west coasters is going to start getting a better chance. I'm about to give up and go to bed. ATT keeps giving me the P1234 error, Apple keeps timing out in the end, and the iOS app just sits at a loading page. Tried clearing cookies and cache, and everything else I can think of. :mad:
 
So it looks like the Premier site is also down. So for us who have premier accounts looks like no pre-orders for us.

I'm going to bed sad and mad. And surely I'm going to work cranky and uptight tomorrow.

I have a FAN account, which I guess is same as Premier? But yea, Premier site is down and no luck through Apple or AT&T. I was able to get my girlfriend's on AT&T's site, but she is on a different account. Had to change the billing address real quick to my billing address so I could pay for it, though. Will just have to switch back after.

I agree with ya. I'm also a Premier account and no luck here either.
 
for all of you ordering through ATT, how are you adding the applcare protection + plan? I read that you have to get it at the time you get your phone? But att left no option to?

I didn't have to get it. I think they're using some visual trickery to make it seem like you have to get it, but there's an option to say NO (and I think it's the default). All I had to do was change my data plan. I didn't have to click anything other than a data plan and update order.

Click the business button on the top left at www.att.com and look on the right, there's a premier login but all links on the business site directs you to a att under construction page. I am wondering if we are not allowed to upgrade yet.

Anyway, I have no luck with either ATT or APPLE, so I am going to bed now and try my luck tomorrow. When I ordered my 3GS 2 years ago i remember some ppl are saying they have different phone allocation for regular and premier members, when some models from the regular site are out they are still available for premier members, I hope this is the case now as we aren't even able to make the purchase, and we are already up at these wee hours of the night. Ya I just googled the premier page and am getting the under construction site. Not sure how long it's been like that, so I don't know if it's because they are updating for 4S or if it has been like that days/weeks/months/years...Debating on sleep, but I'd hate to miss out...

Seems Apple is not longer able to take iPhone pre orders...Getting a message that says they are "temporarily unable".

How do they not think of these things beforehand? Business customers are unable to Pre-Order with everyone else? I mean, cmon...
