Sprint charges $49 more than retail on unsubsidized phones?!?!

Best Buy overcharges by $100 on unsubsidized but will pricematch Apple. Does anyone know if Sprint does that too?

If the website won't happen try telesales. I think they get in at 7AM EDT. Have used them for the 5S order and it went fine.

Finally..... But got the up to 3 weeks for shipping. Oh well. That's fine I guess.

I kept getting errors on the first one. I restarted everything and found I had 5 in the cart. I removed 4 and ordered one. My wife's gave me the reservation # saying they could not contact the carrier.

So what's everyone's predictions on the 3 weeks ship time. Will we see it sooner?

finally getting in ... this 4-6 week timeline on the 6 plus seems ridiculous

I am almost debating waiting to buy it and find it at an apple store in like 2 weeks

finally but this is crap!!!

I already preordered through the Apple Store app, but if it's anything like what happened when I tried to preorder the 5 through Apple, they'll cancel my order because I'm on a family plan and tell me I have to go through Sprint, leaving me in the dust.

Soooooo, I went ahead and preordered through the Sprint site as well. This was my original plan except for the fact that it was DOWN FOR THE FIRST FOUR HOURS so I had no choice but go through Apple. All good though, because it worked flawlessly at 7 AM EST, got the model I wanted (64gb 6 in space gray), AND it arrives on 9/19.

So I actually have two preorders for one line, but once I get my shipping confirmation from Sprint, I'll go ahead and cancel my Apple reservation, which is probably going to get canceled by them regardless.

Moral of the story: sleep in next time, and just go through Sprint.

Wow can't believe the shipping time jumped to 4-6 weeks within the last hour. I now feel fortunate to have the 3 week window.

Currently on the phone with Apple to see if my reservation number will go through or not. I'm on the stupid framily plan so I'm not sure if I will be able to or not.

Something to note. Last time I ordered from Sprint, I didn't get a shipping confirmation until 6 days after preordering. That's one day before release date. They still managed to get it to me the next day.

So don't stress if that shipping confirmation hasn't come in yet.

Yes:
Sprint gave the 3wk window to EVERY Plus customer. That seems to indicate that Sprint knew ahead of time that they weren't high on Apple's priority list which is a good thing because deliveries can very well be early.

No:
The bad part about this guess is that Sprint is notorious for being late if you're not first batch. I made two orders at 3A and 3:25A. And the order number difference between the two was nearly 3000 orders. So IF Apple gets bad supply then we may be fortunate to get 3week windows.

I am still not able to access the order page lol... so i called in, waited over and hour and gave up. Called back and hit 0 a bunch of times until I got a person, and they logged into my sprint account and placed the order for me. Estimate delivery 9-19! (For 6 16 gb) I still Can't see the preorder page lol. Error messages. I guess sprint reps probably have priority on the sprint servers.

Thanks! PS. Is it completely normal that my account balance shows that I just made a payment of $800+? When I looked up my order is said it was processing and everything looked fine there. Just thought it was weird.

Also, I was still thinking about calling a Best Buy next Friday to see if they have any Pluses in stock. Do you think I'll be able to cancel my order if I somehow lucked out on Friday? I did pay in full if that makes any difference.

Thanks!

Best Buy, based on previous years, will have zero walk ins for several weeks. If you want to try your luck then go in today at 10a and preorder. If I remember correctly It shouldn't mess up your sprint preorder because BB just has a list and doesn't actually process an upgrade until it arrives.

I'm actually going to try a BB today because Sprint charged $50 more for the handset than retail and don't price match. But, also based on past experience, BB is completely untrustworthy in getting inventory on time.
