For everyone that Pre-orderd they iPhone with Sprint this is were you are getting LTE

http://money.cnn.com/interactive/technology/4G-coverage-map/?iid=Lead

Good Luck Guys!

I have sprint now they are really bad thats why i am leaving them

It's pretty terrible in my area as well, but I'm expecting a major improvement in the next 6 months. It was either that or go to T-Mobile which has good, but splotchy coverage. AT&T and VZW are a no-go due to their nickel-and-diming schemes. Oh and LTE should be here by the end of the year :D

It can't be as bad as AT&T

Well here's the speed I currently get on AT&T, so I'm excited to try a new carrier. And with the way Verizon and AT&T are raising prices and restricting services, I'm happy to give Sprint a chance and see where they go in the next couple years.

I get about 2mbps on 3G. I have a sprint tower less than a mile away. Neither ATT or Verizon have 4G or 4G LTE where I live (30 mins outside of Cincinnati) so there is no point of me spending more $ just to get the same service. Plus I have a 25% discount through work with Sprint.

Yeah, I don't get that attitude. Would I like to have a tracking number? Sure...but it is very possible with Sprint's tight integration with UPS that they won't ship until tonight and thus there isn't anything more to be said then "waiting to ship".

Get mad at Sprint for not delivering it on time, not for having no tracking number. They've addressed that by posting a message on their tracking page stating that you should receive it on or around the 21st. Take them at their word until they let you down.

I just talked to a rep at Sprint and I am convinced the reps do not know what is going on... the rep that I spoke with told me that.." the orders will be shipped fom the warehouse, and are being sent so quickly that a tracking number may NOT be provided 24 hours before the order is shipped"
SOOOOO do I stay home and chance it coming so that I can sign for it ????? That made my whole head hurt!!! but I actually believe that the reps don't have much more information than we do....

I have had my iphone on both sprint and verizon ... I can honestly say there is not much difference in speed. I live in the Phila, Pa area.... the major difference for me is that honestly speaking there are places where I routinely have a dropped call. But I am not much of a "talk on the phone" kind of gal anyway so for me that dropped call always gives me an easy out! lol

At the end of the day I did go with Sprint to save Money. I have two phone lines with unlimited text data and insurance ... my bill is $110.00 a month (with my employee discount. Even with my employee discount on Verizon my bill was never this reasonable. That being said .. I can wait for LTE... I like having a little extra green...

I've got the wife at home, she can sign for it LOL. Or maybe I'll just work from home...

Woohoo I've got shipped notices from Apple (which I already knew haha) I'm all ready to go! Ugh, my SGP screen protector didn't come in yet. Maybe I'll go to the Apple store to see what screen protector they have.

My bro just got his official shipment email but nothing for me yet :(

He ordered his through Apple.com...I went through Sprint.com. Anybody else get an email?

For speeds that slow especially with an AT&T phone try T-Mobile even EDGE should be faster than that.

Yeah, I can't believe how little attention Sprint is getting for their services.

Every other carrier is killing unlimited data

I've got UNLIMITED everything for $100 per line (7 lines)

On my line alone, I pull a tremendous amount of voice (4-5,ooo minutes), texts (thousands, maybe more than minutes), and data (ungodly amounts), every month

For me, the UNLIMITED is more important than the speed at the moment, and Sprint is the only cost effective method of doing so....

Verison (At the time I switched 4 years ago) was up to $240 per line. Rediculous

Granted, the speed would be nice.... Sprint really needs to get on this LTE business.

They never really adequately implemented WiMax '4G' they boasted.... at least not in Minnesota....
And, no LTE here... and not even in the 100 cities list they released.....

If there is no LTE here in the next year, I'll consider other carriers, but until then, I'm holding out, and hoping that by next summer at the latest, I'll be able to utilize the full capabilities of my IP5

Did you order from Apple directly or from Sprint?

Just saw someone posted on the sprint forum that they received a tracking number. Anyone received any?

The annoying thing is that not only have they not provided a tracking number but they also haven't said clearly when they intend to deliver the phone. I still have the message about if you ordered before 2 PM you get it Friday and if you ordered after you'll get it in two weeks. I ordered at 9 AM Eastern but there was a problem that wasn't resolved until 3 PM that day so I don't know when they intend to deliver it.

For those concerned about Sprint's LTE speeds, I'd suggest googling "XDA developers sprint LTE" and see if they have posts about your city. I'm coming over from androids and as you guys may know, they've had LTE phones for a while now. Some ppl on Sprint in DFW/Houston are avging like 35mbps down/15mbps up for example ;O

But then again. YMMV depending on where you are located.

I'm in dfw so that's pretty exciting news.
