I'd rather use a rotary telephone than be a Sprint subscriber.

If you're a Sprint subscriber, you ARE using a rotary telephone.

When your customers can't leave, pissing them off has no consequences. I won't be surprised if the entire customer base of our cable companies are pissed off, there are negative news every week on average - yet, they couldn't care less. If Verizon is reasonably sure that it's customers won't leave for Sprint, they can ignore whatever Sprint does. They may feel more heat from AT&T, yet they can get away by offering just enough for people not to leave. Think about it, T-Mobile (and Sprint) have had cheaper unlimited plans, yet many people go through hoops, opening and paying for dummy accounts etc. to hold on to Verizon.

Welp, I get what you're saying. But it's a moot point now because they did offer something comparable and I've already called and switched to the 16gb and starting tomorrow will be getting 30 for the same price of the 16 :)

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person happy with Sprint, and I've been with them for 14 years! It hasn't always been great, but over the past several years I've seen them improving their network and can honestly say I've had no problems signal or service-wise with Sprint for the past few years. Maybe I'm just lucky enough to be in a great signal area. I also always have LTE.

My only complaint with this plan change is that I wish they would double the 20GB share plan.
