Sprint LTE is pretty good for me, I get it in 90% of the places I visit. 800MHz LTE is where Sprint is really going to show improvement. I am quite happy with the speeds I get, 2600MHz LTE is going to be insane though can't wait for a nice Tri-band phone.

Everytime I seem to get a nice speed test result in my area, I go to use the service and then in reality it just times out.... Ive been complaining to sprint executive services and they keep saying things like "the network engineers have not responded to my request". ect, ect. But seriously Sprint needs to do something about these areas because I have used a few decent sprint towers while traveling around my area and when they are good they are great but when they are bad (which is most everywhere) they are terrible. Customer service is great for the most part but what good is a nice voice when they cant do anything to help.:D:D:D:D

Edit the first few months I had the service it was good, then July came...

LTE for me this morning.

Got it in Phoenix in August, my area a couple of weeks ago, my neighborhood last week and my home yesterday. Since last night it's been on solid. Download speed is about half of the test I did last night, but upload has improved considerably.

No, not blazing, but much better than being in the 3G basement. I can use this speed for streaming music.

It get's better! You'll get there!

I was seriously considering T-Mobile in mid-August. And I've been running 3G speed tests at work every day. There's stil a very large swath of the West Valley that is not covered and the towers around where I work still don't have LTE hooked up. Once I leave my house and head east I'll be solidly back on crappy 3G.

Even the LTE signal I have right now is not strong, but I'll settle for usable right now.

It just means that sprint in general sucks. Check out the speed test thread https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1449989/

Everybody with Tmo/AT&T/VZW is getting 20+Mbps average LTE speeds, many getting over 40Mbps. Some guy using AT&T in Boston is getting 70Mbps.

I dont think theres a sprint guy getting more than 15Mbps on LTE.

I've been getting LTE in Montgomery, AL for a few months and I get around 4-6Mbps on average. I have had days where it will be around 15Mbps for some reason. I have 11 months left on my contract so I probably won't be staying with Sprint once it's up.

I just started to get Sprint LTE on my iPhone 5 in Panama City Beach Florida area. It seems to work best when you are near the gulf.My home is on the Gulf of Mexico so it works great at home but when you get inland it seems to go back to 3G.

Here's my speed test results from this morning.

Very cool!

I get horrible LTE and call reception with sprint on my iphone 5. Many people call me and only to get my Voicemail. My location is Houston

Yeah, Sprint is really struggling with this market.

Mine is just like this. Stores where I couldn't even open we pages or apps now fly. Before it was basically 0 now it's 12 down and 2 up. Clarksville, TN. In Nashville I get 35+ down and 4-6up.

Personally I can't see the need for more than 20 down. @ 12down 2up I downloaded a full album from iTunes in 45-60 seconds. Fully buffered a 5 minute YouTube video in about 15-30 seconds.

No lie though Sprints 3G in my area is just barely useable most of the time. LTE here though is the truth everything opens and loads instantly all hours of the day and coverage is really good. I was about to leave Sprint since my contract was ending, then I searched and found that LTE just rolled out to the Middle TN area. Glad I stayed, my unlimited data is actually useable and worth a damn now.

Lte at house. Houston, Tx.

I'm jealous! What part of Houston? Getting crappy 3G here in Humble/Kingwood.

I'm in the Spring area. And I know how you feel about 3G I upgraded from a 4s and finally getting lte is awesome.

Nashville, TN I-24 in traffic at 5pm heading to class. Pretty good I'd say for peak hours.
