I am switching to Sprint from AT&T because it will save me $75 per month compared to Verizon (5 iPhones on the family everything data plan plus 1 individual 450 min plan with a 23% corporate discount). I am unhappy with the number of dropped calls, delayed text messages, calls going automatically to voice mail, etc. with AT&T.

Good page...here is the image of the graph:

Do you know if the HSPA+ works independently of the regular AT&T 3G network? Would congestion on the 3G network still effect the HSPA+ network?

It's on the same network, so unfortunately it won't solve our 3G reception issues.

I don't know this for sure, but I read this example on a tech blog: The theoretical max on AT&T 3G is about 7 Mbps. Let's say you get 2 Mbps in the real world... With HSPA+ having a max of 14.5 Mbps, the best you can probably hope for is your real world average of 2 Mbps to double to 4 Mbps. Maybe.

Maybe others can clarify that.

I'd appreciate it if all of you can wait til 3:05 to order, I want to get right back to sleep before the site goes down.

Thanks :)

Hey All,

I've had Sprint for the last 7 years. Ask any questions you may have if you are curious about the network.

Also, if you want a specially priced plan (for new customers) you can go here:

^Wow i sound like a marketer haha.

Wow is this legit? If they already have the Iphone4 up I dont see why they wouldnt have the iphone4s....

Seems like you would save $10 bucks a month plus extra landline minutes.

Has anyone tried something like this??

Thanks!

What's going on? I want to get back to bed...

----------

I called 800-MY-APPLE and they literally could not answer due to high call volume.

Yup its legit....most of my friends are on that plan. It used to be called Sprint SERO. I used to be on it but i atually save a bit more with my corporate discount.

The dude's website is the VP of marketing at Sprint.

Just in case you didn't know, AT&T gives unlimited mobile to mobile minutes if you get the unlimited texting plan.

Damn. Seems like they keep changing stuff and either I miss the emails about it or they do a crappy job of informing their customers!

I am on the 900 minutes with the $10/1000 text plan, grandfathered in with unlimited data. Now I know I can switch to the 450 minute and $20 unlimited plan since it includes unlimited mobile to mobile, because I seldom call a landline number.

Thank you for posting this. I used it and I'm going to save a bundle over the life of the contract. I got the 1600 minute plan with 4 iPhone 4s phones and I'm only going to pay $10 more per month then I was paying with T-Mobile.

At 4:15am I tried to order 3 iPhone 4s phones with 1 other phone but Sprint wouldn't let me mix a preorder with a standard order. Since the plan was so good I just went ahead and made it 4 iPhone 4s phones instead of 3 and still saved money.

you can't order anything on Sprints website using Safari, they might want to fix that.

I used safari to place my order with no problems at all.

Here's to hoping Sprint can force at least one of the other major carriers to return to unlimited data someday. I may consider Sprint when my contract is up if they maintain these plans.

Not likely, they will all go tiered to regain the money they are spending on their networks, besides Data is where they make money, not voice as the majority of their profits.

AT&T has rollover minutes so at least you do not lose what you don't use, Verizon and Sprint toss away your extra minutes at the end of the month even though you already paid for them.

I have the family plan version of this. Renewing for another two years for iPhones, it's a great dea. We pay $45 pr so per line with the new smartphone fee.

Wait, so you exclude international roaming? So if you traveled 150 miles in any direction you couldn't use your phone free like we can in the states? Man that must suck.

I can use my phone all over the world. It’s just that it gets prohibitively expensive to use data services when outside UK borders unless I put in a local sim card.

Update:
Sprint wasn't reliable enough in my area although all of their coverage maps indicate that it is.

Switched to AT&T after a few days. Had I known that Sprint wasn't going to work out I'd have stuck with T-Mobile. However, after the wife and kids got an iPhone 4s they wouldn't let me take them back to T-Mobile so I had to go with AT&T.

I hope that Sprint gets things working properly because we need them to keep AT&T and Verizon in line. Just imagine how bad things will get if we end up with just AT&T and Verizon.
