I agree every carrier has network issues to one extent or another.

As a former Sprint customer, my problem with them was their customer service. Other than SiriusXM, it's been easily the worst I've ever experienced.

I agree with you 100% Sprint and SiriusXM customer service is horrible

16GB is farcical. You can buy a 128GB USB 3 memory stick for $30.
Those $30 128GB memory sticks such as Lexar at Costco are far too slow to be used on a phone, especially for random writes (1MB/sec vs. 100MB/sec for sequential).

I called Sprint the other day and asked them if they'd match the t-mobile deal to keep me as an existing customer, the rep said there was nothing that could be done because I'm mid contract... T-Mobile is going to pay off my etfs and equipment fees and I get 5 new 6s iPhones. Is there any question that I'm going with T-Mobile? Something is seriously screwy with the business plans of these two carriers.

I'm going to take a guess and AT&T will announce all their iPhone 6S and 6S+ will be $3/mo cheaper to compete with TMO and SPR. Verizon will respond, ok, we'll lower our monthly rate by $0.50/mo because we are cheap and don't want to lose as much as AT&T but we'll add 30 minutes of talk to your already unlimited talk plan.

And Apple is having a laugh at this....$$$$$

What's next? Free with no trading...:D
Well all these carriers know the iPhone launch is a big opportunity to either gain or lose tons of subscribers very quickly. Apple is loving it. Just means they'll sell even more Iphones.

In a recent nation wide data coverage test T-Mobile was second only to AT&T and only barely. The failed attempt by ATT to buy it was great for T-Mobile because it gained a lot of frequency from AT&T.

Moreover, T-Mobile doesn't charge extra for text and voice roaming.

I don't believe the results. I want to love T-Mobile but their coverage is terrible.

Yeah except for a $1 a month... $12 a month to rent an iPhone is amazing. I would have no worries trading a used phone after spending just $12 though. This is all circumstantial and depends if all networks try to go as low as possible with plans instead of raising prices.

Btw, who would buy used sprint iPhones? Niche market. Only other sprint users since they are the only ones that can really used hem completely afaik. Idk if things have changed w the 6s though.

This pricing is just the cost of aquisition to get people to move to sprint. Cheaper than other options for them for sure.

Actually that is incorrect. The sprint iPhone 5s and iPhone 6 are the world phones. All you have to do is get them unlocked and you have the best iPhone capable of working on any carrier. This started in January of this year.

Don't know what bands the iPhone 6s has yet, but the sprint iPhone was the best one last go around

they don't do unlocks for local networks where the used market is biggest so it's a niche resale market for sprint phones.

What do mean? My sprint iPhone 6 works with Verizon, ATT, T-Mobile, sprint, cricket, straight talk, etc. They most certainly unlock it for domestic use now, it's called domestic sim unlocked and they are required to unlock the phone as lock as it is no longer under contract or payment plan.

So as I said, as of the beginng of this year, the sprint iPhone became one of the most valuable because it works every where.

I'm assuming that is what you are taking about?

It's works with all of them now.

yes, afaik its a b... to ge them to unlock it for domestic use. If they finally broke away from that, then yeah that is great!

I went to get my wife's iPhone 6 onto the plan so she could have the 6s and then the 7 next year. I got caught out by the little detail that says you must own your phone outright - she still has 1 year to go on her two year commitment. I hope there is a good a program as this next year.

Soon T-Mobile will try to lowers it to $0.99, LOL!

I'm a loyal Sprint customer, but I went through hell from 2012-2014. They did give me hundreds of dollars worth of credits, but now their service is insanely fast here in New York City. I'm finally happy and have no plans to switch.

Just switched to Sprint from AT&T. Couldn't be happier. I thought no simultaneous voice and data would be bothersome but it hasn't affected me in the least. I have seen over 50 megabytes at times with Sprint.
If I'm right Apple removed that from all carriers.

If you don't mind NOT surfing while getting bad reception talking on a phone, it sounds like a FABULOUS deal.
