Just installed this on my MBP and it works great. I see that the ATV app is $3.99. I was able to Airplay it from my MBP to the ATV, is there any advantage to the ATV app?

I run a vpn to download torrents to mask my ip address on my mbp, it would be safer to steam movies undetected and airplay it to the atv4. Unless you run a vpn on your router or if they have a vpn app for atv then it doesn't matter.
