finaly, i sold my last windows machine and got a tiny MBA with 13" and i really love it.
the speed is compared to my windows device the same, even it got a 1.4ghz instead of 1.6ghz i5 cpu, but thats not the problem...its the build in "ssd". the 128gb is good for osx and some apps, but seriously, not enough.
so i look for an upgrade and found several m.2 sticks, with AHCI or NVME, SATA or PCI-E binding...the formats drive me crazy...
im about to buy a used 512gb stick already, because the seller said, its 100% compatible, but who knows what i will get and how many terrabytes are already written to the cells...
so i try to find an adpater solution...what an adventure!
several keys from m.2 to 16+12...another one from sintech ( what looks really good and should work... ) same as looking for a drive itself, its also that hard to find the right one...
so in the end, im not more clever then before.
does anyone have a simple and cheap suggestion to upgrade my little beauty to 256/512gb ?
edit :
maybe this combination works ?
