So, either there was a HUGE number of orders in the :16's - :18's that were just filled in the US or maybe the :19's and :20's aren't up yet?

That "trickle" could have been 100,000 watches. (Likely not that many), but none of us knows what the order density is.
Well, the only clues we have as to order density are the number of "CHARGED!" posts we see. And, last night's flurry seemed pretty small, compared to what we seem to have seen on other nights with US movement.
Yep, and we also represent a very small % of Apple users here.
I don't know if they'll every disclose the complete picture - would certainly be interesting if they did.
At the very least, I hope Tim does disclose the sales numbers later today. (and hopefully they give the SKU breakdown to the analysts).
considering apple sold like 2 million watches its first day.. i wonder how many space blacks that is. considering it is 1,100 USD and considering apple shipped about 500k watches the first day of availability or so, id say theres probably about 50k-100k of the 42mm space blacks
UPS has been showing greater detail in their tracking than they were before (previously, there were no locations listed until it entered the US system in Anchorage). Now they are using location stamps when it leaves the factory. You'll likely still get it a day or two after it hits either Louisville or Ontario (we've seen them segment the east/west shipments more now).
How did you get a reference number, or where do I find it? We were both charged last night mine is still PFS
I'm xx:18:05 and was charged last night. Per the UPS app, it was processed at 5:19am with an origin scan at 8:59pm in Suzhou, China.
Scheduled delivery is Wednesday, the 10th!!!!

The phone number that is associated with your profile on the apple store is a reference number apple puts into the UPS shipment.
Verified with the bank, no card charge. I've notified them so they are making sure when it does come through it won't get declined.
@Footelong Also check on the Apple store website (not the app) - make sure it doesn't show any odd status there.
Any chance your card changed since you placed the order? (if they have the old card, they may not have even attempted the charge if the expiry has passed).

Just verified everything with the bank and Apple everything looks good. The "specialist" told me my order confirmation is at xx:20. Although my email was at xx:15 she says that's when it was processed in there system. Kind of annoying but regardless.
Ah...k. Mystery solved. Normally when it's a minute off, you just figure it's due to delta's in the e-mail system, but 3 minutes makes you wonder.

Arrived today! I was originally scheduled for a 2-3 week delivery last Friday. Then I was given a PFS update Friday evening, with a delivery date of the 12th, during shipping the date was bumped to the 8th.
I'm unfortunately one of 'these' who are going to sit for 14 days with it to see if I can justify £949 ($1451) for the material upgrade. I love the device, you can tell it's a first gen and it feels extremely delicate.. but I'm sure it'll improve in time.

I was a UK XX:18 pre-order (didn't check with Apple, so it could have been later). Last time I checked the UK orders were only at something like XX:11.. however since receiving that email from Apple about not putting the SB SS in stores until pre-orders are fulfilled; the shipping just sped up like lightning - something tells me Apple wants a the full range in store asap.
