Guy's Lets get real. It's my fault. Luck of the Irish. Most people don't know that it's bad luck.
Haha, I'm headed to Ireland in two weeks. Does that count against us?

On a serious note: it's super frustrating that a late flight has caused it to delay for HOURS.

My best guess on the current status of those with mechanical delays.

  • For those in Shanghai still, you will get an UPS update around 10:30AM EST as UPS 81 leaves around 10:15 China time.
  • For those in Incheon, you will get an update around 9:30-10:30 EST as your watch will most likely be on UPS 99 or UPS 61 (both leave Incheon within 40 minutes or so of each other.
Once you have a departure scan you should be able to find your flight based on the time it left and it will then continue onto Louisville under the same flight number for arrival between 1 and 2AM Wednesday night/Thursday technically. Then your watch will leave Louisville around 4AM EST and go to your local hub, hopefully to be held for pickup or put on a truck Thursday. Note that this all assumes no further delays of course.

Hope that makes this all as clear as mud ;)

I wonder if some will go to Ontario, CA.

SHIPPED!!!!

xx:26, Canada, set for delivery on Friday.
Looks like someone is taking a half day off. (UPS always delivers late afternoon here)

Ok, the current times are:

June 6 - b19_col - +1:31 (post #7483) - UK
I think you need to wind back the expectations on the UK significantly. My xx:32 was a false alarm (it is just a hold on funds, not an actual charge) and b19_col hasn't come back with news of receiving a watch (and I've asked).

So I think UK are still in the 12-15 range for confirmed, received watches.

Well that sucks! Sorry to hear that! Hopefully you guys get charged soon!!! (I'll go back and find the last UK order).

That puts France in the lead (for EU) at +1:04.

Regarding the splitting of the load into two planes - they could have very well decided to do their east/west split now and ship one to Louisville and one to Ontario.

42mm XX:34:53 US shipped early this morning. The build date is week 23 (June) so they're getting them out in less than a week.

So its looks like apple is going to hold true to the "Ships in June" line we all are looking at on our orders.

I am going to try to stop being so impatient until Monday. Hopefully we either get shipments rolling out on sunday night / monday morning or we start seeing our "Ships in June" updated to a time frame.

----------

Yeah its BS. I hate the fact that Apple made sure to get the watches out before the 27th time frame, but then the rest of the orders sit idle because they are "Ships in June". WHY!? Why not keep rolling out watches as you have them... We obviously know they have them. They magically pull one out anytime a order processing fails. Like the person who had a 27th time frame, his card got rejected, he updated, still didn't ship but then they updated him to "June 1-3rd" and ended up shipping his watch earlier then that and he received it this week. I believe it was 'bryanhobbs' but I'm not positive. Even then, that time frame signifies what? Was it a custom time frame they set, or did they slide him into the early june orders and thats what some of us will be looking at? The latter doesnt seem realistic because the 3rd is wednesday and none of us have been updated with a time frame yet.

All I know is, they officially shipped out all 42s until xx:06:18 last time I checked. Im a :50. COME ON.

Yes it was me! I got mine on the 27th.

I wonder why there are not people from China and Japan in this thread. It would be interesting to see how their times are moving.

The "English only" rule of these forums likely keeps most away. If the Chinese aren't allowed to talk in Cantonese or Mandarin, why would they come here? Likewise for the Japanese. I'm sure they have their own discussion boards that they use.

Any reason why mine would be in Osaka? I thought they would all leave from China and come directly over....

I don't even know anymore. I've decided to stop trying to figure out UPS now because they keep doing all kinds of weird stuff.

My watch that had been stuck in Shanghai want to Narita Japan (Tokyo) and got a departure scan that looks like it's on UPS 109 to Anchorage!

Flight 61 just left en route Incheon to Anchorage. Hopefully no mechanical failures, and our watches are aboard!

I'm guessing our original plane is just hard out of commission, they found all the ways they could shove our excess cargo onto other planes and they just happened to be Korea and Japan?

As long as I get my watch on time, I don't care how it gets here.

why couldn't they hold the bulk of the orders to be delivered on the 10th in China and then ship it? I feel lole shipping to Korea made it worse.

Also, anyone know where they would fly out of if it says Osaka? Just tried to find it in Flight Aware and it got nothing.
