There was a great seen in ENT S4E7 that explains some of what you are saying.Vulcan HC saw something in us as a species that bore out to be true to a degree. The gamble pays off by the 23rd, certainly 24th century. Honeypot for the win.
Hahah, apologies if I started something, but we’ve been arguing this for twenty years. 🤣
I should add that, whatever one argues about Jolene Blalock’s figure vis a vis Vulcans, or the way her character is written, I do think that her interpretation of T’Pol is well acted. She does a good job with the material she was given.
But the debate over T’pol’s
‘augmentation’ will rumble on. I don’t think you see any other form of Vulcan body modification elsewhere in the canon…..?

If it wasn't for Spock or Tuvok, T'pol would have been my favorite Vulcan in trek. Blalock did a heck of a job with the character, kind of like Jeri Ryan and 7 of 9.
