Favorite series? DS9
Favorite series captain? Picard
Favorite Starfleet captain? Not sure
Favorite character? Jadzia Dax
Favorite episode? Difficult to answer
Favorite movie? Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (First Contact is a close 2nd)

Deep Space 9 was the best written, best acted, deepest and most exciting of all the Star Trek series...by far. TNG was outstanding too but not nearly as complex or awe inspiring. That said, I think that all of the Star Trek series were great, including Enterprise.

The "reboot" Star Trek movie was good. However, I prefer the rich history and style of the "real" Star Trek universe.

Favorite series? The original or DS9
Favorite series captain? Kirk
Favorite Starfleet captain? Kirk
Favorite character? 7 of 9.
Favorite episode? Anything with 7 of 9. :) Doomsday Machine was a good one at the time for the original series.
Favorite movie? The last one was pretty good.

Janeway was the most annoying captain ever. The last Star Trek series was the worst (I can’t even remember the name of it, it was that bad).

Favorite series? The Next Generation. I grew up watching this and eagerly awaited new episodes every Saturday or whenever they were on. Reruns of old episodes would play every weekday afternoon so I quickly got up to speed. I also watched "Reading Rainbow" as a kid and I was thrilled when LeVar Burton did an episode featuring his "other" job :)

Favorite series captain? Picard, everyone's favourite English-accented Frenchman. :) Janeway was OK, Sisko was boring, and I never got into TOS or Enterprise (shudder).

Favorite Starfleet captain? Honestly, none really come to mind other than the series stars. Kelsey Grammar, perhaps?

Favorite character? Data. I was such a dork as a kid, I would aspire to be just like him (not as bad as the kid in "Hero Worship", though!) I really liked the idea of a super-smart, super-strong, superhero type character. I also identified somewhat with Wesley (but hey, what dorky misfit 14-year-old didn't?) and to this day am a fan of Wil Wheaton and his writings. Go check out his blog if you haven't already.

Favorite episode? "The Inner Light". There were many others that I liked. "Yesterday's Enterprise" was good too. I liked stories that made you sit and think after it was over.

Favorite movie? Star Trek IV, of course ("Hello, computer!") Also First Contact. I did enjoy the new movie and am willing to play along if they decide to make more new movies in the new Trek universe.

my favourites?

DS9 I think, they had some fantastic stories, but TNG is when I really discovered trek again
captain? - again difficult, but I did like Sisko's no nonsense but calm approach to situations
starfleet captain? - kirk
character? - Miles Edward O'Brian, and engineer I can identify with
episode? - the one where picard was held hostage by that cardasian bloke "there are four lights" excellent acting in that episode
and finally movie? wrath of kahn, it has to be

and to add another question

Favorite series: Deep Space Nine
Favorite series captain: Sisko
Favorite Starfleet captain: Beverly Picard, captain of the Pasteur
Favorite character: Wes:eek:...as if. Tie between Quark and Q
Favorite episode: Balance of Terror (first time I watch this episode, I thought "OMG, Spock is a traitor!!!")
Favorite movie: First Contact

Favorite series? Tie between TNG and DS9. If Babylon 5 is as good as everyone says I'm going to have to check it out. BSG was amazing.

Favorite series captain? Definitely Picard. Had his own brand of badassery.

Favorite Starfleet captain? Nothing comes to mind.

Favorite character? Riker. Or Dax cuz she was hot (weird saying it considering it was not really at chick).

Favorite episode? The Best of Both Worlds, Part 2 or Yesterday's Enterprise

Favorite movie? First Contact. I'm a Borg fan, obviously.

I just want a fully functional Holodeck.

:D

Series: Voyager, although I like all to some extent. Voyager and Enterprise are the two series I saw "first run"; the others I viewed largely through reruns.
Captain: Picard.
Starfleet Captain: I would guess Picard again.
Character: Three way tie-- Data, Seven of Nine and Odo. All three have the same "outsider" character archetype that allows a somewhat objective view of the other (mostly human) characters.
Episode: I have several "favorites", including Best Of Both Worlds pt 2 (TNG), Endgame (VOY), Scorpion (VOY; introduced Seven Of Nine and Species 8472), What You Leave Behind (DS9), Balance Of Terror (TOS), Yesterday's Enterprise (TNG).
Movie: There are several I like, but First Contact stands out for me, as it ups the threat level of the Borg and redefines them visually. A close runner up is the latest Trek "remake" movie with Chris Pine et al; I was pleasantly surprised with the way J.J. Abrams & Co. handled the re-imagining of Trek history.

Other categories:
Best Space Battle: Battle of Sector 001 (the big Cube battle in the beginning of First Contact). Runner up: Enterprise-E vs. Scimitar in Nemesis (excellent collision visuals).
Best "Comic Relief" character: As much as I like Phlox (ENT) and Neelix (VOY), I gotta give this one to Quark (DS9).
