I'll occasionally subscribe for a month or two if they add a new game I want to try/play.Just took a peak, still on sale for 24 more hours, hmm.
Why would you subscribe to EA Play?

Thanks! I don’t know how long I’ll play Fallen Order, but good games I can easily play for a year or more. I’ve been playing Fallout 4 off and on since 2015.I'll occasionally subscribe for a month or two if they add a new game I want to try/play.
If I hadn't been super excited for Fallen Order and bought it on day one, I'd have waited for it to hit EA Play.
For me, I'm subscribing to XBox game pass and now includes EA Play, so while I am tempted for this game, I'll not be buying it as I'll have it available for me.Why would you subscribe to EA Play?
I just don’t like the idea of lose subscription lose access. I prefer ownership and as a rule, I detest the moves by software companies of all sorts to push subscriptions for their products. For me, I'm subscribing to XBox game pass and now includes EA Play, so while I am tempted for this game, I'll not be buying it as I'll have it available for me.
I don't blame you, and I agree. I hate subscriptions but in certain situations and use scenarios they can make sense.I just don’t like the idea of lose subscription lose access. I think I was one of the last ones to sneak off with a subscription free 1 Password which I think is good through Mac Big Sur. I’m using System Mechanic for my PC utility maintenance and although a subscription, it’s cheap compared to the competition.I don't blame you, and I agree. For me, I just signed up to 1Password's sub, simply because LastPass changed their free tier and it no longer supports multiplatform. Doing a bit of research, I quickly came to realization that I'd be better off paying 4 bucks a month.
On the game sub side of things, I have to say I'm really enjoying the xBox game pass, for me, its makes too much sense. I'll be getting an Xbox X and once i do that, I'll be upping my subscription tier to include that and I'll have access to so many games that it will pay for itself in what I play.
I started it last night and I’m not condeming it, but the acrobatics your character has to do in the very beginning is ridiculous, while recognizing it’s presented so you get a better feel for the game mechanics. Very Laura Croftish. It is a good game. Good story and good game play.
Are you playing that in VR? If so, I’m concerned about nausea.I wanted to try Fallen Order but like Battlefront it just kind of seemed like a Star Wars skin over the top of stuff that already exists. I’ve been playing Squadrons almost exclusively since its release and I looooooove it. Truly a unique game among games.
Haven’t tried it yet, but I’m concerned too. Hopefully I can find a friend that’ll let me test drive before I drop the dough. Are you playing that in VR? If so, I’m concerned about nausea.
I was referring to Squadrons.Haven’t tried it yet, but I’m concerned too. Hopefully I can find a friend that’ll let me test drive before I drop the dough.
To clarify, you said you had been playing Squadrons, and I asked you if you are playing that in VR. So that’s a yes or a no?And I answered about Squadrons.
This game is CPU heavy. But it does look nice with everything maxed out.I have this on PS4 and have been tempted to pick get in on my PC as well to push the graphics. I think it’s a fantastic game with a solid story and super fun lightsaber action. Can be frustratingly difficult at times but that can be adjusted of course.
