WHY are people using "available on digital" to mean "available to download"? Why not just say "Available for download"?

For me the big problem is likely to be the iTunes release will be one of the over-enhanced and constantly-being-edited versions, since Lucas has actively been blocking any attempts to release of the original films.
Well, Lucas has no say-so any longer. But that said, I still think this will be the most recent version.

A guy I know still has the laser disc releases of these movies. Laser discs are the same size as vinyl albums.![]()
