Please indicate in poll. Just curious... Wetting Disclaimer: It's just a saying, just to be funny and your vote is anonymous. So don't be fraid to pick the top choice! I have a distinct BTDT feeling about this game. Although I've cooled off a lot regarding RTS, I am currently playing Toy Soldeirs. I may or may not play SCII. Is this the best thing since sliced bread or are feelings ambivalent? Thanks!
If there was a vote for "will play, but not wetting myself". I am not just likely to play, I will, but I am not wetting myself. This has been one of my most anticipated games since I heard they were making number two.
I should of known there would be people who do not want to anonymously admit to wetting themselves. I added a disclaimer to the first post.
Well, just look at the topics on this forum. People are excited. I would be a lot more excited if my iMac played the game decently in OS X. (Come on Apple, fix those drivers!) But I'm not canceling my CE preorder. I'll play in Bootcamp if I have to.
I'm pretty excited about it! Been waiting long enough, thats for sure. I am not a gamer at all, but I loved Starcraft and still fire up a game every now and again with some friends. I just hope my computer can handle it.
You guys should play Torchlight. Made by Diablo developers (even the dude who did the music) and it should be coming out alongside the Steam release.
Only interested when the Zerg campaign or Protoss campaign is available, until then i'll amuse myself with skirmishes.
Granted an RTS and an ARPG are completely seperate genres of gameplay. However, I first played Warcraft, then Diablo II, before picking up Starcraft, and now having played Torchlight and SC2 Beta, I definitely got more enjoyment out of Torchlight than the SC2 Beta. If you don't mind a single-player game, it's definitely the successor to D2, and polished like a good blizzard title.
I tried the Torchlight demo and yes it is polished, but my boredom induced standards are setting the bar higher. And Torchlight did not grab me. Maybe the same will happen with Diablo. Lots of little confined paths through tunnels with things to kill...
Like any PC game, Ill just wait till I can find it used for under $20...which usually happens pretty quickly after release. Been enjoying the beta so far. Berry, I got a key, just send me $25
Is it confirmed that each release will be full price? I just assumed they would be priced lower, per Blizzard's usual expansions.
No, it's not. They've just said that it will be priced depending on how much content is in the box. If it is expansion-like, 39.99. If it's SC2-sized, then 59.99. Seems reasonable. Besides, we will be *lucky* if they come out within 2 years of each other. If I had to guess, I would say that summer 2013 we'll see the first one and then early 2016 the second.
I am not a huge RTS fan. I suck at them . I will probably just try a demo (if there is one) or play it on my brothers computer or something until I get bored of it.
I am looking forward to Starcraft 2 more than any other computer game in history. Warcraft 4 would be a close second. But that game is probably 15 years away...
I've been waiting for this game for 5+ years. Super excited. I need to get Diablo 1/2/+ Expansions. I never played any of them and I feel horrible since people rave about it.
