The Spigen Neo Hybrid Metal is the best case I've ever owned, hands down. Almost every phone I've owned has had at least 1-2 Spigen cases. I love what they make, but this case is gorgeous. It's well-built, solid and feels perfect. 10/10.

I would buy this case in a heartbeat if they didn't have that apple logo cutout in the back. I hate cases with that :-(

The good news is that it exists. This is the version without the Apple logo cutout, the difference is the frame is a lightweight polycarbonate instead of aluminum.

I'm about to return my Aluminum case and get this instead. While I love TH aluminum I thought I was going to have to break my iPhone to get it out of the case yesterday. It's the most gorgeous case I've ever owned, but I'm one of those weird people that like to take it in and out of the case because I like the feel of the phone with no case.

Tripod thread added to iPhone case

I embedded a 3/8" to 1/4" threaded tripod bushing on an i-Blason kickstand case to enable iPhone 6 Plus tripod use. Just enough space between the outer shell and inner lining to avoid damaging the iPhone. I mounted it towards the bottom of the case for unobstructed use with larger tripods.

That is an awesome idea. Now if we can figure out how to incorporate a quick release plate into a case :)

I had the Apple brown leather case and it's been great. Though when I saw the ROCK 0.8mm Ultrathin Soft TPU case in transparent black in posts #104 and #186 I had to try one out.

I've had it for a few days now and I love it. The leather case is much classier but along with leather comes a certain level of care I need to take to keep from scratching it, etc. The ROCK case is much more casual and I don't need to worry nearly as much about it. It's also just as thin and "barely there". No bulk at all.

I've also switched from the Power Support anti glare screen protector to the Spigen Crystal HD protector. I much prefer the glossy to the matte, not to mention the cut-outs on the Spigen protector are much more precise and "tight" around the home button and speaker/front camera.

Can you link to this for the 6?

I'm using the Rock 0.8mm Ultrathin Soft TPU in transparent black for my Space Gray iPhone 6. I also have on the Rearth screen protector. While the case is very thin there is enough lip for lay on the table and there is also a lip around the camera lens cutout.

For any of those that ordered this on Amazon: Just wondering if the description in my pic was the same as yours? Since it says clear-grey I am not sure what is going to show up at my door (clear, grey or a mixture of both). Thanks!

I bought these two bad boys from Aycase. Love them!

That branding though...

It's going to be a mixture. Clear with a dark grey tone.

I posted these on another thread, but some folks may not ever run across them, as that thread is buried.

This is the Elago Duro S6 case for iPhone 6. I've been VERY pleased with it!

Interesting that they would flatten out the protruding lens and then go and add another protruding layer to raise it again. It's a nice looking case though.

EDIT: Just read this on the Amazon description: New Landscape Camera Cutout optimizes camera use and negates all known camera phenomena when using a case. They must be referring to the ip6's horrible lens flare when shooting into bright light sources. I wonder how well that works.

The Apple Silicone cases are fantastic, the only problem I have with them is they grab the insides of my pockets; if you have the same experience, the leather cases definitely don't do this.

There are some things about the silicone case that are better than the leather case though, so my advice would be to only exchange it if you're bothered by the case grabbing your pockets (any other features of this case will be similar/worse with the leather one, in my experience).

Can you expand on what's worse on the leather cases?

Here's my Noot Basics Ultra Slim Fit Hard Cover Case for the 6 Plus.

$8 on Amazon Prime.

Eventually I'll splurge for a black leather from Apple, but until then, this gives me scratch & camera protection. It's very sleek looking too, with no branding. Very thin, and not enough "front lip" to protect the screen, but again, only $8.
