The Spigen Neo Hybrid Metal is the best case I've ever owned, hands down. Almost every phone I've owned has had at least 1-2 Spigen cases. I love what they make, but this case is gorgeous. It's well-built, solid and feels perfect. 10/10.

Awesome case, perfect except for the Apple cutout. Have you noticed if the metal bumper attenuates cellular reception? Also, is that rubberized back grippy enough to keep from sliding out of a shirt pocket? Thanks!

I really, really wanted to love this one. Got the same case on Amazon and it looked so slick. Was hard to reach the mute button, but I didn't care, it was a beauty.

A few weeks later, I am noticing the metal bumper is getting misshapen First at the bottom, and then at the sides. Not so noticeable by sight as by feel. It was already mushy access to the buttons now just more so.

Highly recommend you exchange for the polycarbonate version, same thing, just no metal and no hole on the back of the case. I'm using it non-stop for a week now and it's great, lost its slippery feel, very durable, no misshapen bumper, etc. Just flew from NYC to Hong Kong and it's been on airplane seatbacks, damp drink trays, in/out of backpacks, on tables in restaurants, on desks in conference rooms, not a scratch on her and keeping the iPhone very safe.

You're better off with the plastic version anyways since the metal attenuates the signal. Even if you're not in low signal areas, the attenuation will result in more battery drain and you'll eventually have to replace the battery sooner.

I ordered the plastic version, but you're right the metal is a gorgeous design.

I've now got my gold 6 in a Spigen Neo Hybrid Metal black/gold case, which is probably my favourite case of all time.

I did have the Spigen slim/clear case (which I snapped up on Amazon UK for £0.05p!), but switched to this due to the colour combo.

People are talking about a polycarbonate version of a Spigen case (to replace the metal surround)-can someone link me to this case please?

Other than that, very happy with the case, other than the fact that my car holder doesn't hold it (as I've got one of those 'nano tech' holders and the rear is not smooth).

I'm off to trawl the "What holder are you getting for your car?" threads! :D

The plastic will warp once you take it off and it looks like crap.. the bottom of the case..

Elago Duro S6 - really nice case for those who want some better protection but also want some style. About the same thickness as an Otterbox Commuter (but IMO a much better looking case.) Comes in many colors - I got yellow.

How is this case going for you? Do you still consider it protective case after having it for a while? I have been looking at cases all morning and yours is probably the most ideal for me.

You mean on the Spigen Neo Hybrid? That's unfortunate. At least the one I ordered was only 6 bucks direct from China.

Here you go:

Spigen official site.

Ebay direct from China version.

I ordered from the linked ebay seller but have not received it yet, so I cannot vouch for it's authenticity. Seemed like a good gamble for the price, though.

Just got my Rock Ultrathin 0.7mm TPU case for my iPhone 6 Plus. The packaging was very premium! VERY slim case... but still offers protection on the protruding camera and there is a SLIGHT lip on the front to protect the screen (just barely).

I actually would prefer a larger lip on the front. I think 0.8mm would be perfect, so I'm ordering that one now.
The soft TPU definitely helps the grip. It's a lot easier to hold and still remains very thin/slim.

This will probably be my day-to-day case. My brown leather case is a lot more luxurious obviously, so I'll prob use that one at night/when I go out.

I just ordered this 0.8mm one and will post pics/review once I get it.

Just out of curiosity, are you the owner of that ebay store?

  • You only have two posts MacRumors, both in this thread
  • The user-submitted photography is similar to your pics
  • Looks like a Spigen knockoff
  • Never heard of casewise.

Hope it's a legit ebay posting because I love the look of the case and already ordered one.

Did you receive the Casewise case yet? Is it a Spigen knockoff?

Good thing it's not an Apple product you'd have 50 people in here crucifying you - saying you must be bending it intentionally, running over it with a car or something. :p

I did and confirm that it's not scam. It is a Spigen knockoff, but it works quite well. Got the case for my mom and she loves it! I think it's beautiful, adds little bulk and feels great in the hand. Only thing is, the hold button is hard to press. But for $10 I highly recommend it over the more expensive cases out there.

I did a pretty damn good job putting this temper glass on but the edges are so bothering me. No matter how much I take it off carefully, wipe the phone down again and put it back carefully. The edges that doesn't seem to be adhering well to the screen. Is it cos the glass is curved? Anyone have this problem too? If so how did you fix it?

What color is that Rock case? I want one for my 6 and have come across some on eBay not sure which to get though. There's Clear, Transparent Gold, Transparent Black. I have a gold and want it see through should I go Clear or Transparent looks better?

Here's my Noot Basics Ultra Slim Fit Hard Cover Case for the 6 Plus.

$8 on Amazon Prime.

Eventually I'll splurge for a black leather from Apple, but until then, this gives me scratch & camera protection. It's very sleek looking too, with no branding. Very thin, and not enough "front lip" to protect the screen, but again, only $8.

Looks really good. Too bad they don't make a clear one.

You're getting this because the edges are curved. The glass can't bend with the curves. It wouldn't go away either.
