On lion, I used startupItems to call a daemon progress, it use system function run shell command "open -a" to open a app package. but system returned "permisson denied".

It worked on Mac 10.6 well.

could anyone help me to fix it?

I review the console information, I am not sure it is cause of this:
"UserEventAgent: ServermgrdRegistration cannot load config data"
"UserEventAgent: ServermgrdRegistration oldConfig is nil during net changed notification"

I get the following in Console:
kCGErrorInvalidConnection: CGSGetWindowTags: Invalid connection
kCGErrorFailure: Set a breakpoint @ CGErrorBreakpoint() to catch errors as they are logged

You realise that right now there is nobody with a legitimate copy of Lion who isn't under NDA?
