You could be right, but I've got a lot of experience with MMOs and know how I'm feeling. Thanks though.

The next 3 months will tell a lot as far as SWTOR holding on to its subscription base. I hope it suceeds. As I said its a quality game and deserves a fair trial. I played it a total of 3 months before reaching my conclusion.

I understand where you're coming from. I really think the next revolutionary MMO is gonna be a sandbox like Skyrim. Once you've gone through a Themepark like WOW, every themepark game after that feels old and familiar. There's only so much developers can do with that type of game.

The first clue to me was that I was not vested in my character, then the been-there-done-that feeling appeared...

I am trying to imagine a successful sandbox MMO like Skyrim. It's been my fantasy, just don't know how they could pull it off in a MMO setting. Then there is the daunting content issue. Many players eat content up in 1-3 months. What's to keep them occupied? I realize some can live on endless end game dungeon raids, but that has never been for me.
